Rain-X Latitude Wiper Blades Installation - 2003 PT Cruiser

Today on our 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser we'll be installing RainX Latitude wiper blades, part number RX5079278, on the driver's side, and part number RX5079277, for the passenger side. These latitude wiper blades have a UV inhibitor integrated into the rubber to help it withstand the damaging effects of harsh sunlight, as well as having a rubber coating covering all metal parts to keep it from rusting. The beam is also contoured, which allows it to apply equal pressure across the blade to allow for a clean wipe every time. The blade's aerodynamic design helps reduce wind drag and lift while at highway speeds. Now that you know a few things about the wiper blades, let's go ahead and install them. We'll begin on the driver's side. We need to remove the old wiper blade first off the wiper arm. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser - Curt

Today, on our 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser, we'll be installing a curt trailer hitch, part number C11132. Now, here's what the hitch looks like, when installed on the vehicle. Now, we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements, in helping you select some accessories for your hitch, such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the pinhole to the edge of the bumper is approximately two and three quarter inches, and from the top of the opening of the hitch to the ground is approximately eleven and a quarter inches. Now, we'll go ahead and install our hitch. Before you actually remove the exhaust end, you may want to connect the safety strap under the exhaust, so it does not drop too much. You'll need to locate the two exhaust hangers, one that's near the muffler at the rear, and one that's a little farther forward on the vehicle. You may want to use a little spray lubricant to help these rubber isolators slide off their hook a little easier, as well as using a small pry bar or a large flat head screwdriver also helps. Now that we've got the exhaust out of the way, we'll need to remove eight bolts, four on each side, that are the tow hooks for the vehicle. more
