Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima LongArm on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. This is gonna be an excellent add-on to your vehicle, especially if you already have a bed rack installed on the vehicle. Today we have the BedRock installed and since they are the same brand they do work pretty nicely together. This is gonna be great if you need to haul any longer items kind of like kayaks or a ladder like we have today. What I also like about it is you don't need to use it with a bed rack. more

Setting up the Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender on your 2021 Ford Ranger- Video
Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods truck bed extender on our 2021 Ford Ranger. The truck bed extender is going to be the perfect opportunity if you find yourself picking up some of those longer or more bulkier items, such as our kayaks, maybe some lumber from the hardware store, or any other items that we might need extra space for that can't quite fit in our bed. We are gonna have a two-inch shank fitting inside our two-inch receiver tube here. We do not have a pin and clip included with this, so you are going to have to pick up your own. Feel free to check out the ones we have available here at etrailer.com. more

How to Install: Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender on your 2022 Ford Maverick- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods truck bed extender and seeing how it fits and works with our 2022 Ford Maverick. Now obviously the Maverick has a pretty short bed and while that can be very limiting for the types of cargo we might be carrying you can have a solution for it and that is a truck bed extender. It's going to slide into our 2" by 2" receiver tube and give us a way to extend the truck bed. It's got a couple different positions though so you can have it extended in the truck bed like this or if you have a ladder rack like we'll show you in just a bit it'll work with that too, allowing us to more evenly support any of these extended loads like lumber, ladders or a kayak like we have here. Now the extender is height adjustable. more

How's it going, everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods truck bed extender on the back of our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. Just gonna be a great way to get some larger items transported from the bed truck that might overextend like this big ladder that we have here, some longer lumber pieces or just anything that's gonna extend past where you're comfortable with your truck bed. The bed extender will fit in your two-inch receiver tube. It is a two-inch shank. It doesn't actually come with the hitch pin or the clip so we definitely recommend picking that up. more

The Low-Down on the Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender- Video
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender. We're gonna see what type of cargo it can carry, how to use it in its different positions, and if this is gonna be the right fit for you and your cargo. For example, this is working as a truck bed extender right now. We have this longer ladder that can't normally fit inside this truck safely, but now we have our tailgate down and this in place. This can also be used for if you have a ladder rack or a roof rack and you need to extend the load capacity up on top of those things. more

A Closer Look at the Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender- Video
Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender for two inch hitches, has a 350 pound weight capacity. Now this load extender will help you safely and easily transport longer loads with your truck or your SUV. Basically you can see this base right here is gonna slide into your vehicle's two inch hitch receiver, and you can see it extends it out with an angle for clearance. It will get you a total length from your hitch pin hole to the end of the extension here of about 53 and a half inches. And what's nice, if you notice this bar here, you can raise up or down so you can get a height that'll adjust to match the height of your truck bed. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2017 Chevy Colorado, we're gonna be checking out the Erickson Big Bed tailgate extender junior. So when it comes to these Colorados, you know they don't have huge beds. Most of 'em are five foot. And even with the tailgate down when you need to carry around a long load, you know it can be a little bit challenging. And so using an extender like this what it's gonna do is bump everything out a little bit and give us some tie-down points. more

Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches Review- Video
The Malone Axis Truck Bed Extender is a great way to help carry some of those longer loads that you may have. And there's a lot of stuff that is really good to have with a load extender. And this does have a lot of features so we're gonna get into that right now. Compared to some of the other ones on our site like the Yakima LongArm and the Erickson Big Bed, this one is gonna give us more of a slant right here. So that's gonna help with your ground clearance. And another nice thing that they threw in is the anti-rattle. more

Today on our 2022 Toyota Tundra, we're gonna be taking a look at the Malone Axis Truck Bed Extender. Compared to some of the other ones on our site like the Yakima long arm and the Erickson Big Bed, this one is gonna give us more of a slant right here. So that's gonna help with your ground clearance. And another nice thing that they threw in is the anti-rattle. The anti-rattle is gonna kind of just keep this nice and tight and secured to the bed of the truck just to keep everything a little bit more nice and tight. I do like this better than the threaded hitch pin just because one, we can use this with our other two inch accessories, and two it does the same exact job but it makes it a little bit easier to put the hitch pin in. more

The Rhino-Rack load extender is going to help assist you to get some of that lumber, or a kayak up and onto your roof rack on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. Today we're gonna be taking a look at a solution for some of those heavier kayaks, and the solution to this is the Rhino-Rack T-Load assist bar. So, this is gonna be a hitch mount accessory for your tow-inch hitch receiver. The nice thing about it is we fold it back like this. We can go ahead and take this up, get it kind of lined up with it. And typically we have the back end kind of slide out on us, but it does come with a little pad to protect your kayak from scratches, but also allowing it not to slide around. more

Erickson Truck Bed or Roof Big Bed Load Extender Review- Video
What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Erickson big bed load extender. Now this also comes with the high load adapter, which means whether you have to carry something in the bed that extends past the bed, you can use that in the lower setup or we have it in the high load setting right now. And as long as you have a roof rack, so we have our long narrow ladder that goes all the way from the cab of the truck to the back here and saves us space in the bed of our truck. We can still use that for storage and take our ladder with us. more

And what it's good for is like we're using it right here. Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Hey, everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Darby Extend-A-Truck load extender on our 2019 Chevrolet Colorado. Now our Extend-A-Truck load extender is going to do exactly what it sounds like. It's going to allow us to take elongated gear and create a support point at the back, so we're not having it stick out the back of our tailgate or even out the back of our bed. You can see here, we have a really large ladder that clearly isn't going to fit inside of our truck. So our support here is going to make sure that that ladder actually is supported and held back here rather than having all of this sectional ladder unsupported. And here in our Colorado, we have a five foot bed and let's face it, once you start getting into some lumber, maybe you're carrying a sheet of plywood, some supplies or a ladder like we have here, it gets really complicated on how you're going to carry it. more

Darby Extend-A-Truck Bed Extender Review - 2019 Nissan Frontier- Video
Adam: Hi everyone. Adam of etrialer.com. Today, we have a 2019 Nissan Frontier and we're going to be taking a look at the Darby extend-a-truck truck bed extension. So, this is basically going to be for those longer loads. If you're hauling it in your bed, you can have it in this orientation. If you have a roof rack set up, you can actually swap this around and get it higher up and actually load your ladders, lumber or whatever it may be, up on top from your roof rack up to here and still be able to use the contents of your bed.In this instance, I'm going to have it in this orientation, just because this Frontier has a very small bed, so being able to put a ladder or lumber down, up all the way to the back here is always going to be a plus. So, let's do some measurements for you. more

Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Darby truck bed extender on our 2019 RAM 1500 Classic. What this is going to do, it's going to allow you to haul those extra long loads that you may be getting if you go to Home Depot, Lowe's. If you grab a bunch of lumber, usually they come at eight foot sheets. On our RAM here we have a six foot bed and that's not going to work, so that's when I put this Darby truck bed extender in the hitch to be able to haul those longer loads. In this instance, we do have a ladder on here that we wouldn't have been able to haul unless we did have this Darby truck bed extender. more

Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Hi, guys, it's Adam with etrailer.com. Today I'll be doing a test-fit on the Darby Truck Hitch-Mounted Extender on this 2019 GMC Sierra. So what this is going to be great for is those really long loads, like these long ladders. You have lumber you need to haul, drywall, basically anything. And on top of that, it does have some really cool tie-down points to be able to secure that load to this extender. And this extender is going to come with five different adjustable heights to match whatever type of load that you need to carry. So this arm right here is going to be able four foot in width. So it's going to be narrower than your truckbed, so you won't worry about adding to the width of your vehicle. And a couple of useful measurements, this is going to add about 49 inches to the back of your vehicle. And on top of that, it's going to add, your clearance is about 16.5 inches to the ground. This is going to be compatible with any two-inch hitch receiver. This extender can also fit in this position. more

Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're going to be installing Darby's Extend A Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender, part number DTA944.This truck bed extender's going to maximize your truck's loading capacity. It's going to allow you to carry extra long items, such as ladders, lumber, tubing, and whatever else you may need. With the tailgate down on your Silverado, it's going to give you an additional 35 inches of length coming off the back of your truck. And it is a four foot wide span across, so it'll be pretty much the same width of your truck bed. You'll find tie down points on each edge at the top, so you can secure your load, make sure it ain't going anywhere. And there's five different height adjustments to match the height of your truck bed when the tailgate's up or down.It is a 350 pound load capacity, is constructed of solid steel, and has a black powder coat finish to prevent any rust and corrosion. It works with two inch by two inch hitches. Now we do have a two and a half inch hitch here on our vehicle, but if your Silverado's got one of these as well, you can get a sleeve here at etrailer.com.Now, if you have a ladder rack on your vehicle, you can put it in an upright position to extend your ladder rack as well, or if you're heading to your destination and you haven't got it loaded up yet, and you want to minimize the length of your vehicle on the way there to load it up, you can take the pin out on the backside, slide the top half off, take the pin out in the hitch, slide it out, flip it to the upright position, reinstall it, reinstall your pin, and then install the top half at the desired height. And that completes our installation of Darby's Extend A Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender, on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. more

Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, we're gonna be installing Darby's extended truck hitch mounted load extender, part number DTA944. This truck bed extension is gonna help you secure and stabilize extremely long and heavy loads in the back of your truck. It can be used for any excessively long items, such as ladders, lumber, kayaks, and whatever else you can throw back on there. There's a 48 inch extended platform in the back to stack your gear on top of. Located on each side, you'll find a nice tie-down loop, where you can hook bungee cords, ratcheting straps, or just pull straps. And when you've got your tailgate down from the edge of the tailgate to the edge of your extender, it's gonna measure about 35 inches, so you'll have that much more to be able to load up gear onto the back of your truck. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're gonna be taking a look at the Erickson Big Bed Load Extender for two inch hitches, part number EM07600.We've all been in that situation whether we're going down to the hardware store to pick up some lumber, or some drywall, or going down to the lake with our kayak and canoe where we can't fit it into the bed of our truck. Well, that's where our Big Bed Extender is gonna allow us to carry those long loads and still have support and get it down the road safely. Now we do have a little bit of support from our tailgate, but past that we're really not gonna have anything. Our Big Bed Extender is gonna extend out about 30 and 1/4 inches past our tailgate. We're gonna have several integrated anchor points on each end, that way you can make sure our gear is gonna stay nice and secure. And we're gonna be able to support loads all the way up to four feet wide. Now, whenever carrying an extended load, you wanna check your local laws to make sure, but they do provide you with a red flag so we can attach it to whatever we're carrying so we can make sure that everybody knows that it's there. We're gonna have three different height settings that we can adjust right here by removing the bolt and sliding the mast up or down to get the height we need. And whenever we get to where we're going and we get unloaded, we can come to the mast here and we can fold the arms in. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender, part number EM07605. With short bed trucks becoming more and more common, it is becoming a problem to carry extended loads. That's where our Big Bed Junior's going to come in. It's going to allow us to carry elongated loads and safely support them so we can get down the road. Here we have a ladder but you can also carry drywall, wood, even a kayak or a canoe, anything that's going to extend past your bed where it needs that extra support. We are going to have some support from our tailgate with it folded down, but our Big Bed Extender Junior is going to extend past our tailgate right about 31 inches right here in the front. We're going to have a tie down anchor on each end to make sure we can secure our gear and get it down the road safely. more

But that's where our Darby Extend-a-truck is going to come in.It's going to give us that extra support for the long loads that we may need to carry, making sure everything's nice and secure. It's going to be a two piece design. The first piece is going to go into our hitch, and the outer piece is going to adjustable, so we're going to be able to set different height settings depending on where you want your load to sit. Now, the Extend-a-truck is designed to work with two inch by two inch received tubes only. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender, part number MPG907 00:00:10. This truck bed extender is going to give you 53 inches of extension from the center of your hitch pin hole to the edge so you can haul the longest loads such as ladders, lumber, steel tubing, piping, steel beams, rods. You name it, you can put it on here. And, it can hold 500 pounds on the truck bed extender. So, if you figure that across the entire truck bed, you can haul some heavy stuff. Unlike some other truck bed extenders, this one has tall load stops, which are also adjustable, increasing the maximum width of whatever you can haul behind you with a range of 28 inches up to 48 inches. There's plenty of tie down points on the load stops, and you can go underneath the arms. more

Today, on our 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender for truck bed or roofs, part number EM07605. Whether we need to transport a ladder, go to the hardware store, pick up some sheets of plywood, or anything else that's longer than 8 feet, you know the headache if you don't have an 8-foot bed truck. That's where our bed extender's going to come into play. It's going to allow us to be able to support our load and carry it securely and have tie-down points so we can get down the road safely. Our truck bed extender is going to allow us from the hitch receiver here and extend out all the way to 48 inches or four feet. Since the tailgate is down, from the tailgate to the end of our extenders, it's going to be right about 33 inches. At the end of our extender here, we're going to have several different holes. Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at the Darby Hitch Mounted Load Extender, part number DTA944. Now if you've ever hauled with your truck, I'm sure most of us have been in the situation where we either needed to carry a ladder, some lumber, or maybe even some drywall, and for us those that don't have eight-foot beds, and with most of the load sticking out, it is a little bit unsafe and using the extender is going to be able to give you a spot to tie your load down and make everything more secure. On each end of our extender we're going to have one tie-down point. That way no matter what we are carrying, it's going to be able to secure it down. Now here, with the included pin and clip, we can make our adjustments, so if you need your load to be angled down into your bed, you can raise it up, or if you need it at level, you can lower it down to make it level so your load sits how you want it to. Now our extender is going to work with 2-inch hitches, and it does also include the pin and clip for your hitch. Now our extended truck is going to give us 49" of extra load carrying capability. On the end here, we're going to be able to put all of our loads and anything else we need to carry for up to 4-feet wide. Now our extended truck is going to be able to hold and withstand up to 350-pounds of weight. more
