Manchester Tank Trailer Cargo Control - Cargo Organizers - 1811 Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number 1811, this is the propane bottle rack for 10 gallon tanks. You can see, this is going to be our base, it's going to hold two 10 gallon, 40 pound propane tanks to your trailer. The steel base is going to have the raised lip that goes around the entire perimeter. Here in the center sections, that raised lip is going to measure 3/4 of an inch from the base to the top edge. Then, out here on the outside edges of the base, that's going to increase to a height of 1 inch, when it comes to the raised lip. It's going to be painted white and this is going to be the piece that mounts to your trailer frame. Now, your mounting hardware is not included because of all the different styles of trailer frames out there, but it does have the slots. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy J-Hook for E-Track, Part Number ETJS. It's also available in a white powder coat, Part Number ETJS-1G. It's made with a galvanized zinc coating, so it's going to resist rust and corrosion. It has an inner dimension of two inches. This Brophy J-Hook simply clips in your E-Track anchor point and let's you hang your cargo inside your trailer. It's perfect for hanging up straps, cords, or even hard hats. The links are going to measure 1/2" in diameter. It's going to give us an overall length of 20'. It's going to have a capacity or a safe working load limit of 11,300 pounds. This chain is going to be great when it's used for tie-downs or lifting. more

Erickson Rope Ring Tie Down Anchor Review

Today we'll be taking a look at the Erickson galvanized steel surface-mount rope-ring tie-down anchor, part number EM03700. Now as you can see by the way that I've installed it, I've got complete movement with my anchor ring. It makes it easier for when we're running a strap or a bungee cord through it. It's made of a galvanized steel construction so we know we don't have to worry about any rust or any type of corrosion. It's got 5/16" thickness and the diameter of the anchor ring is 2". Our surface-mount dimensions is 3-1/2" long by 2-1/4" wide by 5/8" tall. Now let's go ahead and throw a strap on it and see how it works out with our trailer. more

Erickson Rope Ring Tie Down Anchor Review

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson surface mount galvanized steel rope ring tie down anchor, part number EM03600. It's made out of a nice galvanized steel construction so we know we don't have to worry about any rust or any corrosion. So we know we can get away with using it in harsh weather conditions. It's 1/4" thick and the diameter of the ring is 2". The base of the surface mount is 3" long and it's 1-9/16" wide and 7/16" tall. Now let's go ahead and attach a strap to it and see how it's going to hold down our cargo. So the strap we're working with today is an Erickson cam buckle strap, and that's part number EM51215. So we'll put our hook through our anchor ring and then we'll tighten down our strap. more

Erickson Straight Loading Ramp Review

Today, we'll be demonstrating the Erickson Straight Three-Piece Hinged Aluminum Ramp Tri-fold measuring 84 inches by 54 inches rated at 1,500 pounds, Part Number EM07484. Now the 84-inch long by 54-inch wide aluminum ramp makes it easy to load your ATV or snowmobile onto your truck bed. It features a hinged design for simple setup and storage, and removable polyrunners for carbide snowmobile skis. Now to begin using our ramp, we're going to go ahead and remove the tailgate from the truck. With our tailgate removed, we can now take our tri-fold ramp and unhinge it to make the platform. You'll see it sets right into the back of the bed, and the red tabs are rubber tipped, provide grip, and keep your tailgate from getting scratched. Now there are two chains included with the ramp, which you can connect to the truck to make the ramp safer. We're going to go ahead and use the tie-down hooks here in the bed. more

Today on this ATV and trailer we'll be demonstrating the Snap-Loc E track stainless ratcheting cargo strap. Now this strap does come in two colors, red, part number SLSRS16R, as well as blue, part number SLSRS16B. Now this heavy duty ratcheting cargo strap will safely tie down your gear. A loop at one end serves as a soft tie for bikes and the E track fittings at both ends will attach to any E track anchor point. It's constructed of stainless steel, which will stand up to harsh weather and rain use. Now on our ATV we'll be demonstrating the various ways to tie it down. more

Today were going to review part number TWSP72TB. This is the Tow Rax, low profile floor track for tie down anchors. This part is aluminum and black in color. And it is a six foot long piece of floor track. You could mount the study black anodized aluminum track to the floor or wall of your trailer and then hook in tied on points, which are sold separately, so that you can quickly and easily secure all kinds of cargo. The low profile design of this track does not hinder loading or unloading. more

On this 2003 Ford F250, we're going to be installing the snap lock tie downs part # SLB25. To install this tie downs, we'll also use the hardware kit part # SLHZ. The first thing we need to do is position our snap locks on the bed of our truck. We'll take a paint marker and use it to mark our drill holes. Once we have our snap locks marked out, we'll go ahead and take a drill and drill out our holes. We also want to make sure that on the underside of the bed, we're not going to drill under anything like fuel lines or electrical systems. more

Today we're going to review the Loc-Ring Tie-down for the Snap-Loc anchor point system, part number SLRO. The loc-ring tie-downs are designed to attach to the Snap-Loc anchor points. They have a latch on the system thatll need to pull open, slip that side into the Snap-Loc anchor, push it all the way down, and slide the tight end back. You should hear an audible click when the latch closes, securing the loc-ring into place. Well do this for all four of our anchor points. Make sure when using these that you confirm that the latch comes down completely and secures. more

Today we are going to show you part number e09151 from Erikson. What we have here is our Camlock logistics strap. The dimensions of this Camlock strap is 2 inches wide by 10 foot long and it is rated for 2000 pounds. We will go ahead and show you a typical application for it. We will go ahead and just show you how it works. It is pretty simple. You just pull this little tab back, pop it into place and it is secure. And then, the opposite side of the strap works the same way. Latch it into place and then the strap goes through this Camlock right here. Then you can go ahead and strap an article to it and see what you get. And there you are, it is ready for transport down the road. There you have it for part number e09151 from Erikson, the Camlock Logistics strap. more

Erickson Trailer Cargo Control - Loading Ramps - EM07420 Review

Today we are going to show you part number EM07420 from Erickson. What we have here is the 6 foot straight loading ramp constructed out of galvanized steel and there is a pair that comes with this part number. The rating for them is 1,600 pounds. We will go ahead and cover some of the fine points of these ramps. Basically we will show you what pieces you need to put together and the components that come with it. Alright first off the ramps themselves are 12 inches wide by 72 inches long. There is some assembly required. It will have these 2 main beams and you do have to install all these rungs in the ramp. Also these 2 parts that resides lay on top of the tailgate when you use it. There is also this latch on strap here on the side of the ramp. This hook actually will go into a hole on the backside of the ramp underneath. That way you can stack them 2 by 2 beside each other. It also comes with this strap right here to attach to your truck and the other half goes to the ramp so you can tie it onto your truck so it will not go anywhere when you are loading up your motorcycle or whatnot. more
