Now, this is a top wind jack and all that means it winds from the top and not the sides. It does have a zinc-plated coating to help with corrosion and it's got a 14 inch lift. If you plan on doing any type of off-roading or overlanding and you're just trying to move your camper or maybe your boat with you, but it keeps on getting stuck or you just having issues moving it and you're trying to get through that either deeper mud, sand, or even just rough terrain where you're driving over roots, then the Ark Xtreme Off-Road jack with wheels is gonna be a great option for you. So, let's check it out. What's great about jacks with any type of wheel on 'em is they're just a little bit more mobile and just easier to move around as opposed to something without wheels. Howdy there, neighbors, Ian with etrailer here. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Round A-Frame Topwind-style Trailer Jack. Now, when it comes to capacity for this jack, the lifting weight, we are looking at 3,000 pounds, and when we're talking about the leg here, that's going to be completely retracted, the measurement for that is gonna be just over 10 inches, and fully extended, just over 24, giving us just over 14 inches of travel altogether. And one more measurement I did wanna talk about was gonna be the handle. It is a 6 1/2 inch radius, so for us, we are clearing our propane tank, and I've got plenty of room to be able to have my hand there without making contact too often, but if you do happen to find that that's gonna be too close, maybe you've got a larger propane tank or propane tank cover or toolbox or something else in the way right here, I would suggest looking at the sidewinder style opposed to the topwinder just to avoid that contact. Now, when it comes to the diameter of the tube, for the upper outer tube, we are looking at 2 1/4 inches, where with the inner tube, it is going to be the two inch variant of that, so it is gonna work with those two inch foot plates and casters, but the foot plate is not included with this jack. more

Now, when it comes to the extension of our leg, for the full retracted position, we are looking at 10 1/4 inches, fully extended, 24 1/4 inches, giving us 14 inches of travel. Now, this jack is going to have 1,000 pounds lifting capacity, and have 15 inches of travel going from its highest point down to the lowest. And for our tube diameter, the upper outer tube is a two inch, where our lower inner is gonna be inch and 3/4. The caster you see on this does come separate and not with the jack, so you may have to order that, or you can pick up a kit, which is gonna include the jack and the caster. more

A Closer Look at the Lippert Quick Drop Tongue Jack with Topwind and Drive Nut- Video
Ian with etrailer here. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Lippert quick drop tongue jack for a-frame style trailers with top wind handle. Now this is a top wind style jack, so with our handle we are comfortably able to raise and lower the trailer into position. But it does have one more option for it. And the reason they call it the quick drop, if we flip this handle over, it's gonna expose a 3/4 nut here on top that we can take a drill or ratchet with that 3/4 socket on it. And then we'll be able to raise or lower the jack without having to use the handle and can just use the battery power from our tool. more

A Look at the etrailer Topwind Round A-Frame Trailer Jack- Video
Ian with etrailer here, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack. This is gonna be a top-wind style we're looking at. Now, for capacities on this jack, we are looking at 3,000 pounds, and then fully retracted, 10 inches for our clearance, and then all the way extended 25 inches, giving us 15 inches of travel. As I mentioned, this is a top-wind style, and I wanted to show that even though we're making contact with the propane tank, so if you had either a propane tank here, or maybe a smaller toolbox, you are able to adjust that handle up out of the way so that way we can still continue operation even if we've got something on the front of the A-frame. Now, if you do prefer to have that handle completely out of the way, we do offer a few jacks in the same capacity that are gonna be a side-wind style, so that could even be placed here at the front where you're gonna have full clearance to be able to operate your jack. Now, for the outer tube, the upper tube here, we are looking at 2 1/4 inch size on that with a two inch inner tube. more

Ian with etrailer here. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Trailer Jack. Now the one we've got on the trailer is going to have the foot plate. We do have an option that does not come with the foot plate, that way if you'd prefer either a caster, or maybe you already have your own foot plate, we do have options for both on the website there. This is also going to be a top wind style, so if you are looking for a side wind style, we've got other options, but this one is going to be functioning as a top wind. So I wanted to show the clearance of our top winder here, extremely close to the propane tank, I've still got enough where I can go up and down with the trailer, but if you happen to have a larger toolbox or maybe a propane tank cover or something like that, you may wanna look at those side winder options. more

We don't have anything in the way of our handle here, so this is gonna work out really good. Now if you have a trailer that has maybe your propane tank or a box or somethin' on the front that's gonna get in the way of your handle, maybe look at the side wind style that's gonna be maybe on the side and not comin' around as much, and I think you'd maybe have a little more clearance for that style. This trailer jack is gonna have a weight capacity of 5,000 pounds. And for your tongue weight of your trailer, you're gonna want your weight to be 10 to 15% of your total trailer weight. more

This jack here is gonna be a good option if you, say, have a propane tank or a box or something in the front of your trailer here. This one gets the jack away from the side, and gets it up front. So it gives you all that room here behind your tongue area, so that way it just makes it more accessible for your handle itself. It's gonna be a 5,000 pound capacity for this jack, and that's gonna be for some pretty heavy trailers, or you can use it on your lighter trailers. It'll just make it easier for you to crank when you're bringing up your trailer on your lighter ones. more

It is gonna be a top wind and that's gonna be where you crank it up here to get it done. If you have anything in the way here, like your propane tanks or a box or anything, you may want to take a look at a sidewind one that goes over to the side. That'll give you room in the back for all your accessories you have on your trailer. As far as our measurements go, from the top here to the base of where our tube comes up to, fully retracted, you're looking at 5 3/8 there and fully extended from here down to the bottom of where the tube comes all the way out is going to be 20 3/8. more

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Bulldog Sidewind Bolt through Swivel Trailer Jack. This bolt on side mounted swivel jack is going to let you raise and lower your trailer. This jack is designed (jack thudding softly) for use with marine and utility trailers, and you're gonna be able to swing this jack up to stow parallel to the tongue of your trailer for travel, and then move it back into the upright position for use. And as you can see here, (jack shuffling) this does have a pull pin. It's gonna be kinda tricky for me to do this while balancing on a wheel here, but (pin clicking) you see you have that capability there with that pole pin, (hands tapping) you'll just pull that, and you'll be able to swivel it. more
