It's a tie-down anchor that's welded in place 1-inch thick, 3 inches long, rated at 15,600 pounds, working load limit. So, folks, with this heavy-duty D-ring tie-down anchor, you're gonna be able to weld this in place. And then this D-ring can pivot 180 degrees either direction on a flat surface, and that's gonna give you a great anchor point for equipment such as a heavy cargo, utility trailer, those kind of things, even enclosed trailers and those kind of things. And it gives you a nice solid point for chains, tie-down straps, those kind of things. more

It's a weld-on application, 5/8 inches thick by three inches long, rated at 6,300 pounds. So, folks, this nice, heavy-duty D-ring tie-down anchor point's gonna provide you a nice solid attachment whenever it's welded in place, to then be able to attach ropes, chains, straps, those kinda things once this side is welded down in place, wherever you need it on your trailer. It does have the extended-length ring here. It's gonna accommodate large-diameter ropes, hooks and chains, and as I just showed you, it can rotate over 180 degrees back and forth so that you can attach multiple angles and those kind of things. more

This would be an alternative method and you really don't want to do it this way. The hook is gonna go down there in the stake pocket but you're gonna notice this part of the strap here right there on the corner of the beam. There's gonna be a lot of stress put right there. So over time as that rubs down that could wear down the strap and cause issues. more

Hey guys, Kevin here on e trailer and today will be showing you how to install the Brophy swivel D ring with backing plate here on our enclosed work trailer. Our D rings here are one quarter inch thick by three quarter inch wide, and they swivel a full 360 degrees. So you can easily get whatever kind of strap you need in whatever position so that you can properly secure your cargo. These have a 2000 pound safe working load weight limit. Installation of our swivel D rings is super simple. Just put your backing plate on first and then your actual D ring. more

Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this removable tie down anchor set by Rapid Switch Systems. This set is going to provide you with these two, two and one quarter inch diameter flush mount receivers that will install into your trailer that will give you that attachment point for your anchors that will slide in and then twist into place to lock in. I'm not able to twist them currently because our receiver is not installed. So it's not giving me the leverage I need. But then your anchor is going to provide that place for you to hook on your bungee cords or straps to make sure that your four wheelers, motorcycles, ATVs, that sort of thing is gonna be strapped down properly. more

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer.Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy D-ring anchor point.Whenever you have a trailer, you're usually tying some stuff down to it. It's always nice to have a bunch of different anchor points to be able to tie stuff down to and whether it is a enclosed trailer or an outside trailer, it is going to be coated in a zinc plated material so it's not going to rust away over time. All in all for some of the more mid-size type loads that you may be hauling down, these are going to be able to put it up to the test, especially with our backing plate. And, the nice thing about it is we don't really have to worry about us tripping over it as it's pretty flush with the floor.First thing you want to do is figure out exactly where you want to get the tie-down point to be secured and we're going to have to drill out a hole. You'll need a hole saw for that. We're going to need a hole with a diameter of at least two and three quarter inches. more

Rapid Switch Systems Removeable Trailer Tie-Down Anchors Manufacturer Demo- Video
To start the easy installation process, select your tie down location. First, use a 1-1/4" hole saw to drill the hole for your receiver and seethe the receiver into the hole flush with the trailer deck. Second, drill out the four bolt holes and install the bolts through the receiver to locate the backing plate and use the supplied lock nuts to secure it into position. The third and last step is to simply insert one of the tie-down accessories into the Rapid Switch Systems Receiver, push firmly down and turn clockwise to lock in position. When not in use, once again, push down firmly and turn counter-clockwise to release. It's as simple as one, two, three. more

This is going to be a great way to get some lighter loads tied down and it's not going to be a toe stubber, so it really doesn't sit up a whole lot. You can step on it, you probably won't even notice that it's there.We could also mount it up on the wall just to kind of keep stuff up and out of the way. I like using this for some cables, keep it nice and wound up, to where we keep all of or floor space nice and open and everything is nice and organized. All in all, more tie down points in your trailer is definitely something I would like just because it can do more.But one thing to think about is this is going to be more of a lighter duty. more

These are going to be great for mounting them on your trailer and getting those points that you wouldn't necessarily have a good tie-down. You can see this one kind of has a wall, so you wouldn't be able to run the strap through here, around this top bar, like you could on the front. It really limits you on your options to tie things down like this generator here in the middle. You wouldn't want to attach here because this isn't strong enough; it's going to pull this off. more

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchor Point for your enclosed trailer or utility trailer. This makes a really easy point to tie down any kind of cargo or accessories or vehicles in or on your trailer.It's going to recess mount into the floor, so you'll have to cut out a hole for that to sink down into. It does come with the hardware to get it installed and a backing plate so it should be a really stable sturdy point for you to lash anything down.Let's take a closer look at it and make sure it's the right fit for your particular application. The hardware is going to make it nice and flush it shouldn't cause any tripping hazards or be an issue whenever you're trying to roll things in or out of your trailer. The D-ring swivels around 360 degrees, flips on either side, so you're not limited there. That backing plate gives it some extra strength as well, so it should be nice and sturdy and stable and it is made out of a zinc plated steel, so you shouldn't have any worries about rust or corrosion over time.The hardware that comes with it, button head bolt with a lock washer and nut to really secure it down and cinch it into place. more

Today, we're going to take a look at the CargoSmart bolt on removable D-ring tie down anchor with a 1,333 pound working load limit. Now this is a light duty D-ring, which provides a nice solid attachment point for ropes, straps, or bungees. This'll let you anchor push mowers, tillers, and other lightweight cargo on your truck bed, utility trailer, or enclosed cargo trailer. Basically this ring will rotate 360 degrees and it'll swivel 180 degrees so that you can attach a rope, strap, or bungee from multiple angles. It is a removable design. You can just simply unscrew to remove the D-ring from the shank. more

We get questions here all the time about different cargo management systems and how to secure items down in your different trailers.What we're going to be taking a look at today is from Toe Racks. This is an anodized aluminum track, uses the L-Track connectors. And basically they're going to come in either 18 inch length or a 12 inch length, which we have here, and they provide you with a lot of connection points.Now, the biggest thing that sets these apart from all the other cargo management systems out there is the very compact size. You can see here with our 18 inch piece, we're able to secure this right off to the top of our utility trailer. And it really isn't ever going to be in the way.And you see it's over here to the side, up and out of the way, we don't have any connectors there until we need them. more

It's from Tow-Rax. Essentially, it's going to give you a very convenient two inch wide, by either 12 or 18 inch length piece of tie-down. See each of our holes here, we've got the option to slide a tie-down in, and we can put it basically anywhere on the track we want. more

Today, we're going to take a look at the Brophy Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor. Has a 4,000 pound working load limit. Now, this stake pocket anchor provides a nice tie-down point in your flatbed truck or trailer. It is a moveable anchor. You can slide it into a standard two inch by four inch stake pocket, and it can be easily removed and reinstalled as needed.You can see it will secure in place with the included pin and clip. The D-ring right up here at the top is hinged, so the straps can be attached from different angles. more

It gives us a 3667 pounds safe working load limit and it offers a really nice large D-ring that will allow you to connect many different-sized straps regardless of the hook type, with the exception of maybe the flat hooks. These are very common and widely used in many different applications, whether that's flatbeds and trucks, utility trailers, enclosed trailers. Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. Now of course we have tons of different cargo management options. Today we're going to be looking at a recessed ring. I like the idea of these because it allows us to have plenty of tie-downs all over our trailer, but they don't stick up where they're going to be in the way. Now, if you're using something wheeled, like the ranger we've got here, where you can just roll over them. But let's say you're trying to load a washer and a dryer, maybe a refrigerator or something that you kind of have to slide along, having connection points that stick up and over the surface of your trailer can generally cause those to hang up, then you got to kind of lift and rotate. more
