If you're not familiar with tire pressure monitoring systems or TPMS, these are systems you add to your trailer tires. That way when you're driving down the road, since you can't see your tires, much less know if something goes wrong with them, this way you can monitor everything from your vehicle. Now what Tuson's ball sensors do is they do things a little differently. Rather than working and messing around with your valve stems on your tires, instead, these are sensors that go straight inside your tire and then you start rolling and driving. What happens is a ball will start rotating around with your tire and once you pick enough speed, they'll stick to the wall of your tire. more

Today we have a 2020 Highland Ridge Open Range 5th Wheel Trailer and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Lippert Tire Linc RV Tire Monitoring System. Now, there's many reasons why you would want to get a TPMS system on your RV. The first for me is not having to always check that your tires are pumped up to the right pressure before you go out on your trip. I personally own a fifth wheel and I check my tires every time before I leave because I've had a blowout before and that was the one time I did not check my tires. You want to check 'em every time you go, but you don't necessarily always have the time or you don't want to add it to your huge list of stuff that you have to do when prepping for a trip. more

Properly inflated tires will increase your fuel economy, help extend your tire life, and they'll even improve safety and environmental efficiency.What's nice about this kit is it offers interchangeable valve stems that allow you to fit both valve diameter size holes out there, so you can fit both the .453 diameter and the .625 diameter valve holes. And the way you can tell that apart, if you don't know, of course it's on your vehicle. If the wheels go up to 15 inches, the diameter will be the .453 size, and if your wheels are 16 inches and larger diameter, they'll use the .625 diameter size. more

How to Install: TST TPMS for RVs on your 2016 Winnebago Vista Motorhome- Video
Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the TST TPMS system with color display monitor on our 2016 Winnebago Vista. Now our TST is going to allow us to monitor all the tire pressures and temperatures of our tires, not only on our Winnebago but also if we're pulling a trailer or a towed vehicle behind us, that when we're driving down the road, if our tires get too hot or if the pressure drops too low, we can already know and to prevent having a blowout or running down on our tire when it's really low, causing a lot of damage.And the monitor has a wide screen display and it's going to allow us to see all of our tire pressures and temperatures but it's also going to give us an audible alert if we have an extreme temperature or tire pressure change, case there's a really fast leak going on and potentially a tire blowout, it's going to let us know because it's going to be monitoring the tire pressure every five seconds.And the way the monitor is going to receive all the tire pressure and temperatures is from these sensors that are actually going to mount right onto the valve stem. It replaces the valve stem cap and again, it's going to send a wireless signal to the monitor so we're not going to have to worry about having any wires or anything else and as you can see, the monitor is wireless as well, it has a built-in battery, so we don't have to have it plugged in constantly either.Now the sensors are going to screw directly onto the valve stem and the inner-piece that threads on, is a brass construction so it's going to work with rubber, steel and brass valve stems and pretty much just about any of the ones that are out there and we're not going to have to worry about corrosion or anything like that building up.Now our kit is going to include the monitor and six sensors so we can monitor all the tires that are on our Winnebago. There are additional sensors available, that way you can monitor up to 38 tires at one time.And it's really nice to be able to monitor the pressure and temperature of your tires because let's face it, a lot of new cars have TPMS sensors built-in and why not have them on your motor homes and make sure you're not going to be damaging the tires or running them too low or potentially the pressure's too high and if you're telling a vehicle or a trailer behind you, if that vehicle has TPMS on it, that's nice, but we can't use it if we're not driving it so this is going to allow us to monitor those tires, even when we're not driving the vehicle just to make sure that the tires don't get too hot and again the pressure doesn't get too low.Here you can see the monitor and we actually have a few different options of how we can lay it out. The front right here is showing our motor home, so we have our two front tires and our dual rear tires and this back here is going to be our towed vehicle, so it's separated. more

Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Tire Linc Tire Pressure and Temperature Monitoring System. This system is going to allow you to keep an eye on your tire temperature and pressure to make sure that nothing is going wrong. As you're driving down the road it is kind of difficult to tell what's happening back behind you, so having these on your trailer or RV is going to give you extra peace of mind that you know exactly where those tires are at so you can avoid something disastrous down the road.This is a very simple installation. These little monitoring sensors are going to just screw on to your tires' valve stem. They use Bluetooth technology to then connect to your smartphone, either your iOS or Android device. more

Now it will also alert you if there is a blowout on one of your tires as well so you can quickly address that rather than waiting until it's too late to get that taken care of.So these are internal mounted or internal tire sensors. iN-Command TPMS Sensor Pairing Manufacturer Demo- Video
Recorded Instru.: There are three different methods for pairing your TPMS sensors to you're iN-Command TPMS app, the deflation method, the manual method, and the QR code method. Install the battery by first removing the cover from the TPMS sensor. Use the wrench included with your TPMS sensor kit to assist. Install the battery with a positive terminal facing upward. Then re-install the cover.Press start on the deflation sensor pairing page within the TPMS app. Select the tire on which you'll be installing the TPMS sensor. more

Hi everyone. Adam with Etrailer dot com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the in command TPMS sensors for your RV or any type of vehicle you may have. It's going to cover an RV, anything with tires, really. If you have a flat tow setup, you can grab an expansion pack and put them on your flat tow setup as well, just to make sure all your tires are at the proper temp and PSI.So it's a pretty basic kit. It does have a lot of similar qualities to the other TPMS sensors we messed with, one of which being, it does have an app, so everything is controlled by your app. more

Adam: Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at TSTs, TPMS monitoring system with our flow through sensors. So these flow-through sensors are all you're going to need on each stem of your tires to gain access to the readings of your temperature and your pressure. It's going to be able to transmit all of that information to your monitor and making it really easy to keep track of all your tires. So the difference between the flow-through sensors compared to others, this way, we can keep that sensor on there and just take this cap to air it up. It makes it really easy just as if we didn't even have these sensors on. more

So what's great about these sensors is they are extremely universal. If you have something that has tires, you can monitor it, whether it be an RV, a boat, or maybe even just a utility trailer, you're going to be able to do that all with the ease of your phone. So whenever you're going on vacation and if you have a flat tow setup, you don't really want to be worrying about that when you're with friends and family going to a campsite. It's always going to be nice to be able to monitor that, to give you peace of mind just so you can enjoy your vacation.So if you're someone who has a big fleet like this, whether it be a boat, a trailer, or even an enclosed trailer, whatever it is, we're going to be able to monitor all these tires. more
