Now, this particular carrier can hold up to four pairs of skis or two snowboards. Depending on the exact width of your gear, you might find that you can fit maybe a little bit more, maybe a little bit less, but generally that's what will fit in here. You've got these really large buttons up top that make it very easy to open. The arms will spring up and allow you to grab your gear and take it out of the carrier. more

If you have a 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and you're looking for a carrier that's gonna be able to transport your skis from point A to point B, but your skis have some taller bindings on 'em and you need something that's gonna help lift it up so you don't make contact with your roof, then the Yakima FatCat Evo ski and snowboard carrier is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. What's nice about ski carriers is trying to store your skis inside your vehicle isn't gonna be ideal. Because one, you typically have some sharp edges so you'll tear up the interior of your vehicle and they're gonna have a lot of dirt and grime on 'em that you don't want inside. Now, you could use a hitch-mounted cargo carrier to put it on the back of your vehicle, but a lot of times they're gonna be closer to the ground. more

If you have a 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and you're looking for something to transport your skis from point A to point B, but you want a cleaner their finish to the top of your vehicle, then the Kuat Switch ski and snowboard carrier is gonna be a great option. Now the one we have today is designed to carry four skis or two snowboards, but you can't get it in a larger size that carries six skis and it's gonna work the same way. But what I really like about a ski carrier is that's just gonna be a better way of transporting your skis as opposed to some other options out there. You could put 'em inside your vehicle, but that's not ideal because it's gonna tear up a lot of the interior and it could get things pretty dirty and no one's gonna be very comfy like that either. Now you could put it on the hitch of your vehicle if you have some type of carrier like that, but I typically don't like my skis that close to the ground 'cause it just gives me a little more peace of mind. more

So one thing you may notice with this, this is gonna allow you to transport your skis on top of your vehicle with your roof rack system and get everything out on the road. Skis, even if you have shorter ones, they still are gonna take a lot of space up in the road, and this is just gonna free up that limited cargo space that you have for your adventure. So, taking a closer look at the exterior of our ski carrier, you can see it's a black, you have a polymer here, that's gonna hold up against UV light and heat, as well as cold, similar to the plastics on your vehicle from the manufacturer, you have a button on the end that's gonna allow you to push in. It kind of sticks out a little bit along the side. So if you have a mix and you can actually push down and get that raised up. more

This is gonna be a kit with the Rhino Rack 3 ski and board carrier combined with the MOS Uplift from MOS Racks. So with this, you're able to carry up to three skis or two boards, but instead of having to reach up and onto your roof in order to load and unload your skis, you're able to bring it down a lot closer to you. This is gonna be helpful if, let's say you still have your snowboard boots on or your ski boots on, and you don't wanna be climbing up onto your vehicle while it's icy and while it's snowing. So if we compare that to putting it inside your vehicle, the downside to that is that's gonna bring in a lot of snow and ice inside of here, which isn't gonna be very fun. Now the reason why I like ski carriers versus to not having any at all, because the other alternative is gonna be storing 'em inside the vehicle and that's not a great solution, because one, they're gonna get pretty dirty, because they have a lot of snow, dirt, or ice on them. They're gonna take up a whole lot of space. And they usually have sharp edges to 'em, so they can scratch up your interior. more

While the 4Runner is a larger vehicle, and it can store a lot in it, skis are just gonna be really uncomfortable to have there back with your passengers. And if they have a lot of dirt snow on them, you don't want that inside your car. That's where I like these, and specifically what I like about these ones, these actually have the ability to fold down to save you a lot of space and just look really nice up here. more

So what I like about with a ski and snowboard carrier is that it's gonna give you a better option for matching your skis because putting it inside your vehicle isn't ideal, mainly because they're gonna take up a lot of space. And while you do have a lot of space back here, if you have any passengers, they're gonna be very uncomfortable, especially since if you're using these a lot, they're gonna have a lot of snow, grime, dirt on them, and you don't want that inside your vehicle. I currently have the size four, which can carry up to four pairs of skis, or you can get the longer version, size six, which can carry up to six pairs of skis. If you have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee, and you're trying to take your skis from point A to point B, but you want them to look a little bit nicer on top of your vehicle, and you don't wanna have to deal with trying to get them in the back here because trying to get some skis in here but then they have a lot of ice, snow, and dirt on them isn't gonna be ideal. So your roof is gonna be the next best thing. So let's see how this is gonna operate. So the way this is gonna work is we're gonna have some pretty large buttons here. Really easy to use, especially if you have those thicker mittens or gloves on. more

So let's check it out. What I like about this carrier is this is gonna be great, because we're gonna have trays that pull out, making loading and unloading your skis pretty easy.
