Now this is gonna be a great option for you if you're looking at trying to haul anything that's longer or you just run out of space in the back of your car. This is gonna be more ideal for anything that's long, like any type of wood or anything else along those lines. We're gonna have 165 pound weight capacity and we'll be able to put some pretty long items in here and we'll have this front flange that's gonna help it be more aerodynamic. Now, if the case ever arises that you need a little bit more space, you can actually remove this flange and put things past this point too. I do recommend if you do put any items in here, making sure to strap them down so they're nice and secured. more

If you're looking for a way to expand your cargo space, maybe you have a big trip planned and not everything's gonna fit inside your Ford Escape, or maybe you want to carry around the gear for the other accessories you're carrying on your roof, that's where the Yakima SkinnyWarrior can come in handy. Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talk about the Yakima SkinnyWarrior on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. Now this is gonna be a great option if you really wanna save space on the other side of your vehicle for any other accessories like bike racks or kayak carriers, for anything else that mounts up top. So that's gonna be really nice if you wanna haul a lot of longer items, like two-by-fours or you maybe have golf clubs that kind of sit up there, it's gonna be a really good spot for those to fit. And as you can see up here, our carrier's only gonna take up less than half our total crossbar, and my crossbar is about 50 inches long, so that's very nice if you need to put on any additional accessories up top. And over here, where the total height is gonna add to our system, it's gonna add just about seven inches. So that's something to be mindful if it's unloaded and you're going in to any low clearance areas, you wanna fit in like a garage. more

Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket on our 2022 Mazda CX9. Now, a rooftop cargo basket like this is going to have a perfect opportunity to maybe carry around some of those larger items like skis or snowboards or some of those messier items, like mulch or fertilizer that you don't wanna necessarily dirty up the inside of your car. This one especially does have some tall walls, so I would say stuff like maybe luggage would be a little more secure in here, knowing that it is kind of sitting further down, recessed into the basket. Our basket is going to take up a majority of our 50-inch crossbar spread, but I think that's more than perfectly acceptable for something like this. Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima SkinnyWarrior on our 2022 GMC Terrain. Now, why might you need something like the SkinnyWarrior Well, if you have additional luggage or cargo that you can't quite fit in your vehicle or maybe it's something that is a little bit dirty, maybe a little bit muddy and you don't want it on the inside of your vehicle, the SkinnyWarrior is going to provide us an excellent opportunity to be able to still carry that on our vehicle without having it inside our vehicle. Now, our basket is going to be made out of a black powder-coated steel, which just means that's a very strong construction being made of steel, meaning any of our bars are going to be excellent tie down points. And even though it is made of steel, it still comes in at about 23 pounds, which is pretty lightweight, and that black powder coat finish is going to help us stand up to the elements and be pretty corrosion resistant. Now, any time you use this, you maybe end up scuffing or scratching it, that means we are going to be more prone to some corrosion in those areas. more

Flint Hill Goods Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2020 GMC Terrain- Video

How's it going, everyone Right now, we are going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Rooftop Cargo Basket, we're gonna see how it fits on our 2020 GMC Terrain. With the Terrain, we do have a good amount of storage, but if you're taking some kind of road trip or maybe just have some larger or messier items that you'd rather not keep inside your car and you want to get them up on your roof, as long as you have a roof rack system in place, this is going to be a great entry level way to do that, so let's take a closer look at how it works and how it fits. My first impression of this basket is that although it does come in at a value price, it does really look sturdy, it looks like pretty much all the roof baskets on the market that have a similar built quality. I mean, it does have that premium finish, but it doesn't come in at that premium price, which I think is really cool. It does have a weight capacity of 165 pounds, keeping in mind though that it does have the weight, as well as your roof rack and your roof rails and your roof of your vehicle are gonna have different weight ratings, so make sure you know what each of those are, go by the lowest rated component just to be safe. On our basket here, we have steel tubing that runs across the top and the bottom as well as straight across to hold our gear. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Curt Roof-Mounted Cargo Basket and seeing how it fits on our 2022 Toyota RAV4. This is going to be the larger version of Curt's roof-mounted basket. They make one that's a little bit more square, but shorter, but this one has the extension piece in the middle. And the reason for that today is because the roof rack that fits on this particular RAV4 has a really wide crossbar spread, which is gonna make it hard to attach baskets, because a lot of them are meant for a more narrow crossbar spread. So you're gonna have to be looking at bigger boxes to accommodate that if you have the same roof rack setup that we have that utilizes these fixed mounting points. more

How's it going everybody Today we are going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Cargo Basket and how it fits on our 2021 Ford F-150. Typically, this might sit on the roof, but in our case we have it on the bed rack system that we have installed on our F-150, just 'cause that's gonna make our items much easier to get to and we can still use our bed while getting this up on top and increasing the storage space overall of our vehicle. So let's take a closer look. Our basket is gonna be made out of durable black powder coated steel. The whole construction is going to be that material, so it's gonna hold up really well against rust and corrosion, and all of these points, including the top and bottom rails as well as the rails that go through are gonna be points where we can strap things down to, which I definitely recommend. How's it going everyone Today we are going to be taking a look at the Curt Cargo basket and how it fits on our 2021 Ford F-150. Typically, these are gonna be designed to fit up on your roof, but in our setup right now, we have this on our bed rack. Just gonna make things much easier to access without having to reach all the way up there. It's gonna work the same though, and we can take a closer look now at how it's gonna work. The basket's going to be made of black powder coated steel, so it's gonna be durable, rust and corrosion resistant.
