So if you do have a hole in your roof or something like that, this is going to be a great option to help cover up those holes, make them waterproof again, to fix any punctures and prevent any water from getting in and causing problems.This will be a permanent repair for your RV roof and it can be installed ideally on a dry, clean surface, but it can also be installed even if the surface is wet, so if you're out in the middle of a rainstorm and you notice a leak in your roof, you can go up and put this on there. Obviously you just want to be careful being on the roof while it's wet, but this is a nice tan color, so it should match the color of your tan roof. more

And today I'm going to walk through how to reseal the top of your camper RV.Every five to seven years, you need to look at the seal that's going around any of your components on top of your roof and along your sides. If any of it is cracking or coming up like this, it needs to be replaced. The reason we want to replace it is because anything that is going down the roof has something that is going down inside of the roof or inside the ceiling. So if we don't have anything sealing the edge, what can happen is water can get underneath and it can cause damage inside your roof. more

Now, if you're not familiar with what self-leveling sealant is; basically, you're going to use this anywhere on your RV's roof, where you're putting in a new skylight, or vent, or something like that. You want to make sure that it's nice and sealed so that water is not getting in there, causing problems in the interior of your RV. A self-leveling sealant is going to be pretty runny so that as it's curing it's going to kind of sag down, settle in, and cause a wider footprint. more
