Hi everyone, I'm Evangeline here at etrailer. Today we have the Hollywood Rack Destination E electric bike rack, and we're gonna see how well it fits here on our 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L. I can say right off of the bat that it is a great fit, mainly because the Grand Wagoneer L is a pretty tall vehicle, so a lot of bike racks sit pretty tall, too. So if you have heavy electric bikes, chances are you're gonna have to lift them pretty high up to get onto the bike rack. But since the Destination E has an included ramp and is really designed for those heavy electric bikes, this is gonna be a great fit for you if you have a heavy bike. What's also impressive is going to be the tilt, or rather drop of this bike rack. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Benton Shifts&Grins two-bike rack and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L. Now that's gonna be a really great entry-level bike rack that offers a lot of nice premium features like the ability to fold up for really easy storage. You can see right here I've got the shank folded upright. So this is how you might store it in your garage and when you're ready to put it in the hitch, all you gotta do is push this button on the top, fold that out, and there's gonna be a small pin in the middle that you also need to pull. (pin clicks) And once that button locks out, you're ready to pick it up and load it into your hitch. Now once it's in the hitch, you've got an anti-rattle bolt to keep things nice and still and the integrated hitch alignment tool to make sure that that hitch pin hole lines up on the first try. more

If you have a 2024 Ford Expedition and you're looking for a bike rack, that's just gonna be able to really be very compact, not take up very much space on the back of your vehicle and be really just secure with hauling those heavy e-bikes, then the Saris Super Clamp is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. So the first thing I really wanna point out is the spacing between our vehicle and our bike is pretty impressive. Even if you're on some really bumpy roads and let's say this is moving quite a bit or nowhere near even making contact with our vehicle, that's gonna be great because we're also gonna be able to carry bikes upwards to 60 pounds. So it's gonna have a pretty beefy weight capacity to it, but it's not really gonna affect the tilt too much. more

Now, the one we have today is designed to carry three bikes, but you can get other variations that carry a different quantity of bikes too. Either way, they're all gonna work the same way because what's cool about it is when you're working with it, you can actually move these arms out of your way so you can get closer to your bike. It just makes it easier to maneuver it. Now this is often gonna be rated for bikes up to 40 pounds, so it's really more designed for your standard type bikes. more

Now, right off the bat, this is gonna be a great bike rack for your heavy bikes, because you have a 70 pound weight capacity, but you also have some other fun features that just make it a bit more compatible with those heftier bikes. One big example is gonna be how this rack tilts away. Now, the Durango has a pretty large hatch, which means you need a pretty decent amount of clearance in order to open up that hatch. As you can tell, this isn't gonna really take any time to really get set up and get going. With this fully installed, you can tell that this is gonna be a hanging style bike rack, and there's definitely some pros and cons to that. So the big pro is it's gonna be a lot more affordable compared to other options around. This is gonna work across two different hitch sizes, but we're gonna see how more specifically it fits on our 2019 Toyota Highlander. So as you can see with a bike loaded here, this guy right here is not gonna block out a lot of what's going on on the back of the vehicle as far as your license plate. But with your backup camera, if you have backup sensors, this whole setup will get caught up on that. If you have a 2023 Nissan Rogue and you're looking at carrying your nicer bikes, or you're more standard style bikes from point A to point B, but you want something that's gonna be really easy to use then the Kuat Sherpa is gonna be a great choice for you. So let's check it out. The reason why I say it's gonna be great for more standard-sized bikes is because what bikes are gonna be able to fit on this rack. Anything over 47 inches for your wheel base isn't gonna fit on this, but something else to consider is the size of your bike and how it's gonna interact with your vehicle. One thing to note is our handlebar is right over here. more

If you have a 2023 Nissan Rogue and you're looking for something that's just gonna be really easy to use, very nice to look at, and is gonna be able to work with a wide range of bikes and work nicely with the Rogue, then the Kuat Piston Pro is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. And what I mean by this working really nicely with the Rogue is how our bike is sitting on here right now, is we have plenty of room in between the two. Even with my hands here, we're not even coming close, we're not gonna make contact with the glass. There are a few things to consider with this though, is gonna be the size of your handlebars. more

Now, before we continue, please make sure you have a hitch receiver on your Bronco. If you don't have one yet, we installed the Draw-Tite hitch receiver here, which is a little further back and gives us a little extra clearance past our spare tire.
