Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 360 degree adjustable clamp-on fishing rod holder. Now, this clamp-on corrosion resistant, stainless steel tube in a chrome zinc alloy fishing rod holder will hold one fishing pole. This will let you fish hands free and have multiple lines in the water, and as we mentioned, this is a durable 304 stainless steel tube, which is rustproof and corrosion resistant. And it is an easy no-drill installation, basically, right here, the rod holder will clamp to any diagonal, horizontal, or vertical boat rails that are 3/4 of an inch to 1 1/16 of an inch overall diameter, and it secures with the two hex screws. Now, it is a solid mounting bracket, so it distributes the pressure evenly to help prevent any dents in your rail when you tighten it down, and if you noticed, there's the two short hex screws that are in there, and then two long hex screws depending on the rail diameter you're gonna fit it on, and it comes with the Allen wrench to install it. more

Now, these fishing rod holders will Mount onto a post or railing of your deck to secure your fishing rods and it is designed to work with either spinning or bait casting rods. If you notice on the holder and the one end has this rubber grommet, that's for your rod handle protection. On the other end, has this rubber retainer strap, which will secure your rod to the holder and this strap does release quickly when there's a fish on the line. So, basically when you go to put your fishing rod in here, you'll just take the reel, the reel will go right in the middle here, the handle will slide through the rubber grommet right here, and then what you'll do is open your strap and then just lay your fishing rod down on there and put that strap over there to secure it. more

So, this gives you a nice place to stash your fishing rod while you're getting ready to get out on the water, or while you're out on the water.It can attach to just about any kind of non-porous surface. So, something that's relatively smooth. And even if it has a curvature to it, it should be able to attach pretty simply.
