Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this rear view safety G Series universal backup camera system. This is going to be a universal mirror that will replace most existing rear view mirrors. It's gonna fit right in place of your original and it will function just like your original to give you that rear view of what's out your back window and that sort of thing, but then it's also going to have a nice, bright 4.3 inch color TFT display that will connect to the included camera and so that you can see very clearly what's behind you. You can see on the display there we do have those backup lines so we can see how close we're getting and make sure that we're not gonna be too close as we're backing up. This does have the compact camera that's gonna be ideal for your smaller vehicles. more

Today we're taking a look at and installing the Hopkins Smart Camera Backup System here on a 2010 Ford F-250. with the Hopkins Smart Camera backup system installed it's gonna be a huge help to those of us out there on the road that don't have backup camera systems in here. So driving around, I don't have towing mirrors. I just have standard single plane mirrors and I keep them pointed down towards the back tires of my pickup truck so that way I can use them to line up in parking spots backing up the trailers. Review of Rear View Safety Backup Camera - RV Third Brake Light with Camera - RVS47FR- Video
Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Rear View Safety Third Brake Light with camera. This is going to replace the third brake light housing on your RV, just take off the original lens and housing, pop out the lights, the light bar here, and plug it in to this one, that will then re-complete that, so that you'll have your functioning third brake light again, but then, you'll also have your backup camera to give you a better sense of what's behind you as you're backing up and that sort of thing. This is right about 13 1/2 inches in overall length, or width, depending on how you look at it, from center of our mounting hole to the center of the other, it's right about 12 inches, and it's only about 1 3/8 of an inch tall, kinda difficult for me to show you that with my ruler here, but will plug right in, do a great job of re-completing that third brake light, so you still have that functioning brake light going. But then, you'll also have your camera here, so this is a 170 degree viewing angle camera, so you're gonna have a nice wide view of what's behind you. It does also have a built-in microphone, so you'll be able to hear what's going on behind you as well, so if someone's back there giving you directions or all of a sudden someone's screaming for you to stop, you'll be able to hear that through the microphone. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Rear View Safety Third Brake Light with camera. This is going to replace your third brake light housing on your Sprinter, and then, will add that backup camera, so you can be safer as you're backing up. Now, this is going to fit your 2007 through 2009 Dodge Sprinter, the 2007 through 2015 Freightliner Sprinter, the 2010 through 2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and the 2016 and '17 Freightliner and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 and 3500. So this is going to just have that lens and housing, so you'll pop out your light on your Sprinter, put that in place here, and that's gonna give you that light signal, so that it's gonna be fully functional again, and then you can hook up this wire. You can see it is a 5-pin connection, and then we've got a 65 foot long wire to run up to the front of your Sprinter, and then we can get it connected, both to power wire it in there, connect it like so, and then we'll also be able to get it hooked up to our monitor, our video, and audio here, so very easy to get this installed, so that we have the benefits of a backup camera. more

Now, this rear view safety third brake light will allow you to install a backup camera on your Ford Transit by replacing the existing third brake light with this third brake light that'll include a camera attached to it. Now, this kit will include everything I have here on the table, it includes the third brake light with the camera, and the 5-pin male cord, comes with this 33 foot long 5-pin female to 5-pin female camera cable, comes with this 5-pin male to RCA male plug adapter, comes with this 5-pin male to RCA female adapter with the female power plug, as the five foot long female power cable, and the four foot long male power plug. Now this is a nice small wifi hitch camera, that'll connect via wifi to your mobile device, allowing you to see the camera view on your mobile devices screen. Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're going to be going over the Rear View Safety wireless hitch camera. So this camera system here, it can be used in a number of different ways. It can be used for fifth wheel and gooseneck and even bumper pole travel trailers. So if we're going to be using it with those embed hitches, we can easily just place this on the roof of our vehicle to help us align with our fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer, so we can get the pin box lined up or the hitch ball for our gooseneck coupler. We can also use this for bumper pole travel trailers as well, by simply placing it on the ball mount or the tailgate slash half of our vehicle. So this particular system is completely wireless, meaning we don't have any wires that run between the actual camera and monitor themselves. more

Hey everybody, how's the going Today we're going to be going over the rear view safety WiFi hitch alignment wireless backup camera system. So if you've ever tried to couple your trailer by yourself without a camera, you know this isn't necessarily a straightforward task. There's a lot of getting in and out of your vehicle depending on how long you've done it. Sometimes it can take up to a couple of tries but definitely isn't ideal especially when we just wanna hit the road and get going. Hi there trailer owners. Today on your 2014 Palomino Solaire, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Hopkins Wireless Camera System. And this is what our camera system looks like when it's installed. It mounts up extremely easily, because it goes right behind one of your tail lights right in the center at the top, the bracket comes included with it and it's got spacing for the holes that match up with your standard hole spacing on your lights, so it's simply remove the light and it fits right behind it. It gives you a nice clean look and an extremely easy way to get a camera installed because it's powered right off the same light circuit. So we're getting ready to back it into a spot, but I wanted to do a quick test just to see how far away I can go from the trailer with my phone here, if we can still connect. more

You're going to have to get your rear camera and your two side cameras if you decide to put those on.Another thing is typically we put these on campers or RVs. Because they're so big, it makes it a lot easier to either see past the camper or to see a couple of lanes over. The reason we put it on this car is the owner of the vehicle has a hard time turning his neck, so he wanted something that he can see a couple lanes over when he's either changing lanes or getting ready to turn, to give him that extra view that he needs because obviously he cannot turn his head.The camera set up, the RVS screen is going to be a 5.6 inch screen. more

This can be mounted on the driver's side of your vehicle to be a side view camera, to help reduce blind spots, but it can also be mounted on the back of your vehicle, if you want to use as a backup camera. Either way, it's going to make it a lot easier and less stressful for you, when you're changing lanes, backing up or hooking up to your hitch.It's a very small camera. Today we're going to take a look at the rear view safety backup camera system with the weatherproof quad view monitor. Now, this backup camera system is complete. It comes with everything shown here on the table. It has the 7" quad view LCD color monitor, has the swivel head pedestal mount that we mounted it on, or you also have a U bracket mount for the monitor. It has a color infrared weatherproof camera, remote control, one power connection harness with RCA and power converter wires, a 66' long extension cable for your camera, mounting brackets and sunshade for the camera, and the hardware to install everything.Now, we're going to start with the monitor. It is a 7" quad view digital LCD touchscreen color monitor. more

Rear View Safety Backup Sensor System Installation - 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hi there Jeep owners. Today in our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Rear View Safeties backup sensor system you've probably ridden in a vehicle before with audible backup sensors. With this system, you can easily add it to any vehicle that doesn't have an existing set of backup sensors.And what's nice about adding it yourself is you've got a lot of options to choose how you want to use it. We've currently got our system installed on a Jeep just as a typical backup system. All four sensors are located in our bumper and we've got a service cart currently located right behind the vehicle, and you can see here that our system's detecting it, indicating that we have an object nearby.As you can see here on our display, as I go closer, the audible beeps will increase in intensity and they'll beep closer together and our number will decrease on the display, and as we go further away it will decrease in intensity as well as the number. And once we get far enough away, our system will go blank and it won't beep anymore.Here you can see at the back of our Jeep we've got our four sensors, there's one in each corner and there's two here in the center, and this will give us complete coverage across the back of our Jeep so we know when we're backing up it's going to detect it.On your display, you'll have two clips that come with it, and these are great for flipping into a headliner or helping you get it mounted. more

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner on our 2013 Ford Edge.A lot of new cars come factory with backup cameras already installed. It's really nice. It's a convenient thing, and it's a safety thing. We don't have to worry about having an extra set of hands to help us hook up to our trailer, back into a parking spot, or anything like that, but also, make sure everyone around us is being safe. We're backing out of our driveway, make sure there's nobody else or any objects around. But it can be kind of expensive to put in a factory backup camera in an older car.But that's where our Hopkins Smart Hitch and Backup Camera is going to be a really cost-effective way to get your older car to have the convenience and safety of a newer one. more

Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera Installation - 2014 Nissan Versa- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Versa, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera. This is what it looks like installed. As you can see, here's our camera on the center, which it is adjustable and these two things on the sides, those are actually our backup sensors. So that will alarm us when we're getting close to an object, which these are also adjustable.All right, here's what the monitor looks like when it's not powered on.
