It's going to help with cracking that window, allowing some fresh air to get in and allow any interior heat to escape.Now they work great for those days where maybe it's raining outside, you can just crack the window a little bit, like I said let that interior heat escape and get some fresh air in there. Today we've got a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, these WeatherTech side window air deflectors for the rear which is part number WT81840.These side window air deflectors do a great job of allowing interior heat to escape while cutting down on the wind noise that could be entering your car as you're driving at high speeds. If you lower the window just about two to two-and-a-half inches you can allow the interior heat to come out and let some fresh air get in the car, and the wind is going to be kind of ramping over that deflector making sure it doesn't make too much noise inside your vehicle. Also, if it's raining out it's also going to do a great job of not allowing water to get inside as long as you have it rolled up to at least the bottom part of the air deflector.It's got a dark tinted acrylic construction so it's going to be durable and hold up well in extreme conditions. The dark tint is also going to resist UV rays. So if you've got your kids sitting in the backseat, or whoever might be back there, if the sun's at a certain angle it's going to do a great job of giving you more protection from the sun so it doesn't get in your eyes.Now, you're going to get both a driver's side and a passenger's side deflector for the rear windows. Today on our 2013 Ford Edge, we'll be installing the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors for the front, available in dark tinting as part number WT80430 and light tinting as part number WT70430. All right, as you can see we already have our driver's side window air deflector installed. What I like about this is this is a nice, slim line design that follows the contour of our door nicely. This will allow us to have our window cracked in inclement weather conditions to let fresh air inside of our vehicle but keeping the elements out. This is great for when we're parking our car when we go into work and it's a hot, sunny day outside. This will let some of the hot air escape, keeping our car cooler for when we get back when we get off work, and if we have one of those sporadic summer rain storms we don't have to worry about the interior of our car getting wet while we leave it unattended. One nice feature about our front visors here is that there's no tape involved. These don't stick to the outside of your door panel at all. more

WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors Installation - 2013 Ford Focus

Today on our 2013 Ford Focus we'll be having a look at the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors, available with dark tinting as part number WT80573. Or light tinting as part number WT70573. All right, here's what our window visor looks like installed. As you can see it's a nice slim line design that follows the contour of our vehicle nicely. Because the slim line design and giving us a clean look it looks like it's there from the factory. So if it's a hot humid day and it's raining you'll be able to crack your windows to get some fresh air in your vehicle, and you don't have to worry about getting any of the rain inside. Another thing I like about these, this does cut down on the wind noise. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander, we'll be installing the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors with dark tinting for the front. It's a two piece kit, part number WT80464. The reason you want one of these is so when it's raining outside and you still want to get some fresh air in your vehicle, you can have the window partially rolled down and you can still get all your fresh air in, while keeping all the bad weather out. It's a very sleek, OEM look, help reduce wind noise, and keep the bad weather such as rain and snow out of your vehicle. We'll begin our installation by taking some soap and water, and a shop towel here, get a little damp, and we'll clean the top edge of our window, just like so. Now that we have our windows clean, we can install our side window deflector. We'll start with the front end here making sure this bottom edge here rests on top of the window sill right there, so we insert it into the window channel like so, work it up. more

As you can see, they give us a nice, very low profile, look, to where it looks very factory, and it doesn't take away from the look of your vehicle. One of the nicest features about these air deflectors is that they go up inside the window sill, as opposed to using adhesive that sits up here on the top of the door. The biggest benefit of these air deflectors is that, when you have your windows down, they're going to help directly reduce wind noise. Because these window visors are so slim in nature, it's almost like the vehicle came with them direct from the factory. We have our window lowered about two inches, but in this position here we'll allow ourselves to have maximum air flow inside the car, even in a very bad rainstorm, and we wouldn't get any rain inside our vehicle. All right, with our window partially rolled down in this position here, and our window already clean, we can go ahead and install our window visor. I'll start with the front, just slide it into the window channel like so. more

Today on our 2016 Kia Soul, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors with Dark Tint for the front, part number WT80760. They're also available in light tint, part number WT70760. These air deflectors do a really good job of cutting down on wind noise when you've got the windows rolled down. Also, you're able to crack the windows a little bit, even when it's raining or snowing outside, just to get a little bit of fresh air when necessary, without having to worry about anything getting inside the vehicle. As you can see, it tucks up inside the very top of the window track here. That's going to prevent needing to put any adhesive up along the top frame of the door, so you don't have to worry about damaging any finish that's up here by doing that. Also, with it being in the window track, it helps keep it a little tighter in towards the window so it helps maintain just a little bit cleaner look than some of the other ones that you have to put on with the adhesive. It features a nice dark tint here. The way that this air deflector's designed, it contours the window track very well because it's designed specifically for this vehicle. more
