Installing the B&W Universal Base Rails on a 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Hey neighbors, Kevin here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be showing you how to install the B&W Universal Base Rail Kit, along with the custom frame-mounted brackets here on our 2024 Ford F-250. This base rail kit, along with many others, is gonna be indicated with an ISR, which stands for Industry Standard Rails. And what that means is that the spacing between the front and rear rail is going to be a set standard, so that way you can flip multiple hitches in and out of this. So maybe if you decide you don't like the hitch you have, or maybe you wanna switch to a sliding fifth-wheel hitch, you would have the slots for it. And that's what these three different slots are, just so that you can fit those different spacings. Now the bigger thing when it comes to base rails is, well, now this is taking up space in my bed and it's not removable. more

Installing the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch in a 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Hey neighbors, Kevin here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install your B&W Patriot fifth wheel hitch here on our 2024 Ford F-250. Now, if you are like our neighbor today and you have a short bed F-250, and you're wanting to use a trailer that has a pin box that is rotating, so like our neighbor today is gonna be using a Reese Sidewinder, and there's a lot of stipulations that go along with that because you need four strong mounting points for your hitch before you can actually hook up to and use one of those rotating pin boxes. So, that's where having a base rail kit is going to come into play, along with our Patriot fifth wheel hitch. Now, typically with a '24 and up, or even maybe 2020, you're typically seeing those puck systems or you're gonna be putting in a gooseneck. We'd really love to recommend the B&W turnover ball and companion because it offers you the benefit of having a empty bed along with a gooseneck and then a fifth wheel option so that you can tow everything. But unfortunately, with that one single mounting point, you're not allowed to use that with a rotating pin box. more

These frame rail brackets are gonna come with B&W's really strong powder coating, that's that gray color you see here. And just recently, they've upgraded their custom brackets to also show which side they are for. So if you look at this side, we're over on the passenger, it's got a P on it. And if we go over to the driver's side, it's gonna have a D right here. more

Hi, friends, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Hydrapro CAM Adapter Module for your Dexter and Hydrastar electric-over-hydraulic actuators. Now, this adapter module is compatible with Gen 1 Deutsche Hydrapro, Hydrastar, and Dexter electric-over-hydraulic brake actuators. And as you probably know, this is going to allow your tow vehicle to recognize a trailer where your EOH is attached to your factory Ford, GMC or Chevy Brake Controller, and this is going to intercept and validate brake signal data to eliminate false error codes regarding connection errors of the trailer being disconnected. This will mount virtually anywhere, and it's going to splice into your actuator's wiring with the included butt connectors. And this adapter should not be used with trailers with electric brakes or brake controllers not made for an electric-over-hydraulic brake actuator. more

Review of Dexter Trailer Hubs and Drums - Hub with Integrated Rotor - DX82UR- Video
Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Dexter 9 3/4 inch hub and rotor assembly with the 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Has a zinc finish to it and it fits a 4,200 pound axle. Now, this hub and rotor assembly is designed to work with the 4,200 pound Dexter disc brakes. This uses a machine process which will minimize any run out and warping and the contaminants can't get in between your rotor or your hub. If you notice, it is a vented design, so it does regulate the temperature to prevent overheating. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Roadmaster Smart Diode for incandescent taillights. It's for a quantity of one. Now the smart diodes will correctly display your RV's brake and turn signals on your towed car, with the variable voltage incandescent tail lights. Basically, it'll convert the 12 volt signal from your RV to a nine volt signal, so your tail lights work as intended. It'll also prevent feedback that can damage your vehicle's electrical components, keeps the battery from draining while you're flat towing, and it'll resist corrosion 'cause it has the powder coated aluminum casing on it. more
