Today we're gong to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Truck Mounted Expedition 2 bike rack, part #HRF6-2. This bike rack is perfect for hauling 2 bikes if you don't want to install a hitch or a roof rack. The one thing that sets this truck mounted bike rack apart from the rest is it's ability to fold down. This will be ideal for close quarter parking such as inside the garage. Also it's 3 piece design allows it to accommodate spoilers on most vehicles. The all in one piece anti-sway cradle attaches to your bike down tube and it helps to prevent bike to bike contact or bike to vehicle contact. All the cradles are constructed of a soft rubber so it won't scratch or harm the finish of your bike. more

Today on our 2010 Chevy Cobalt, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Mounted Two Bike Carrier, part number HRF6-2.088.Now to begin our test fit, we'll set the carrier onto the vehicle. We'll use the top set of levers on the left and right hand side of the carrier to open up and adjust the arms to fit the carrier to the vehicle. We'll then lock them in position and use the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the trunk. You may need to open your trunk to get the bottom straps hooked in position.We'll then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. We'll then adjust the arms of the carrier on the lower set of levers, we'll open up and swing the cradle arms out. The cradle arms do need to be level or slightly angled up.Once we establish this angle, we'll lock the arms into position, secure the access slack of the straps, and were ready to load our bike. more

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Cruze we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition, an adjustable arm trunk mount 2-bike rack, part number HRF6-2. To begin our test fit we're going to place our bike rack directly onto our trunk. To adjust our upper arm we're going to pull out on the upper set of black levers. This will allow us to adjust our bike rack properly. We can then secure it in place by pulling down on the black levers. We'll now place our top straps on the leading edge of our truck lid. more

Well now put the top straps to the top part of the trunk, the side straps to the side part of the trunk just above the taillights, and the bottom straps to the bottom part of the trunk. Well then tighten down the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Malibu well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition two bike carrier with adjustable arms, part number HRF6-2. Now with our bike rack already preassembled were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well simply place it on top of the rear deck lid where we can take the two top straps and secure them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. Well now go ahead and pull them snug to help us hold the bike rack to the vehicle while we install the other four straps. Well now install our two bottom straps here on the side where we can allow them to fold down to the bottom attaching to the deck lid just above the rear bumper cover. Well again pull them snug. more

You're going to have two straps up top, and one off to the side here, which is going to act as an anti-sway strap to keep it moving back and forth possibly hitting the bike rack itself or the bike in front of it. We'll then flip out the top two black levers so that we can adjust to fit the top part of the bike rack to fit the trunk. We'll need to place the top bar about the center of our trunk. We will then clamp down the black levers which will secure the top bar in this position. We'll then take the top hooks and clip it to the top part of the trunk. more

Once we get on position, we'll lock them into place and use the top strap for the top part of the trunk, the side straps for the side part of the trunk above the tail lights, and the bottom straps for the bottom part of the trunk. We'll then tighten on the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. Now we're ready to load our bike. We'll undo the second set of black levers to swing the cradle arms out. We'll lock them in position, undo the cradle straps, set the bike into the frame cradles and secure it with the straps. more

Today, on our 2015 Dodge Dart, we're doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Trunk-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is HRF6-2. Now, we already have our bike loaded up. We're first going to show you how we secure that down. Then, we'll go over some features of the rack. We have two cradles in place with three straps. Two on our frame and then one as our anti-sway strap here in the back. We're going to pull down and lift up to release our strap. Once we have those straps removed, we can remove our bike and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace your straps, so you don't lose or damage any of them. Once again, they may be a little difficult to replace since the bike rack is new. As you work with it a little more, it will get easier. Now, let's take a few measurements. Our first one is going to be our overall distance added to the back of our vehicle with our arms hanging out. more

We can then use the top two black plastic levers to flip out to adjust to fit the bike rack to the vehicle.With the bike rack in position, we can take the top clips to put it to the top part of the cargo door, and the side clips to the side part of the cargo door, and the bottom clips to the bottom part of the cargo door. We will then need to tighten down the straps to secure the bike rack to the rear hatch. Once all the straps are tightened down, we can then secure the excess slack.With this done we are ready to load up our bike. Well flip out the bottom set of black levers to swing the cradle arms out. more

We'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up on the vehicle's rear bumper. The bottom pads of the bike rack should rest on the upper tier of the bumper. We can then use the top two black levers to adjust the fit of the top of the bike rack up on the rear window of the vehicle. When figuring out this position, you're going to want to leave enough space so the cradle arms can swing out to a level or slightly angle the position. If you have the bike rack up too close to the vehicle's rear hatch this will prevent you from bringing the cradle arms out. We can then snap the black plastic levers in place, securing our bike rack and position. more

Once weve established this position we can then clamp down the black plastic levers. Well then hook the top clips to the top part of the rear hatch, the side clips to the side part of the rear hatch, and the bottom clips at the bottom part of the rear hatch. more

Once we have that set, we can go ahead and set our hooks in place. Well set the top hooks at the top part of the trunk, the side hooks at the sides just below the taillights, and the bottom hooks at the base of the trunk. more

Today, on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we'll be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition, two-bike carrier trunk mount, part number hrf6-2. Now, to begin our test-fit, we'll go ahead and place the trunk mount bike rack against the cargo door. We'll then take the two top hooks, and hook them to the cargo door here at the roof line, just behind the roof. Now, with those two straps in place, we can then work around the other remaining four straps, and hook them to the cargo door. The two side straps will hook to the cargo door, just above the tail lights, and the two lower straps will hook to the cargo door just above the bumper fascia.Now, with all six straps in place, we can go ahead and work around tightening each of the straps evenly to make sure that out bike rack is secured and centered with the vehicle. Now, we've already gone ahead and made sure that we left enough room to swing out our dual arms. more

Now this carrier will fit onto the cargo door just below the license plate. Well now go ahead and hook the top hooks to the top part of the cargo door, the side hooks to the side part of the cargo door just above the taillights, and the bottom hooks to the bottom of the cargo door. Well then tighten the straps to secure it to the vehicle. If your vehicle is equipped with a rear windshield wiper, you will need to make sure that there is enough clearance when your carrier is installed to bring the cradle arms out. more

Now to begin our test fit we'll simply set the carrier onto the vehicles cargo door. We'll put the bottom tier of the carrier just below the license plate on the cargo door. We can then use the black levers on the left and ride hand side of the carrier to adjust the carrier to fit the vehicles cargo door. Once we've established this position we can clamp them in place and put the top hooks to the top part of the cargo door, the side hooks to the side part of the cargo door, and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the cargo door. We can then tighten down the straps to secure our Hollywood Racks expedition to our Kia Sorento. After securing the excess slack were ready to load up our bike. We'll flip out the second set of black levers to swing out our cradle arms. more

Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of our features. Now there are reflectors on both ends of the arms here to improve visibility at night. The cradles themselves do adjust along the arms here to accommodate loading. It grips your bike at three points. We're going to have two straps up at the top here and one off to the side here, which is going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep your bike from moving too far back and forth and making bike-to-bike contact. Now while it doesn't come with the wheel strap that we have here, we do recommend you use one so that your tire is not making contact with your vehicle while you drive. more

Now we do already have our bike strapped down, we're going to show you how we strap that down and then also some features of the rack it's self. So the first thing we'll take a look at are our cradles here. We've got two cradles holding that bike into place with three straps, two on the frame and one is your anti-sway strap here. We've also got an extra included strap just for more security and to keep that bike from shaking even more. So the first thing we'll do is release our extra strap here. more

Today on our 2016 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2-Bike Rack, part number HRF6-2. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike actually attaches to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two straps up at the top here and one off to the side which is going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to make sure the bike doesn't sway too far back and forth, and make bike-to-bike contact. The cradles are adjustable and also have these reflectors on the end here as well for night driving. While this doesn't come with the actual bike rack itself, we do have a wheel strap here, just to keep this in tact, to prevent contact of the front wheel to the bike, however, if you we're to have both bikes attached to it, it does come with this stabilization strap which would serve as that for both bikes. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

It also has a pad that rests on the trunk so we want to try to get our arms level or slightly inclined, so we're at a pretty good place right here. more

We'll take the top clips to the top part of the trunk, the side clips to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom clips to the bottom of the trunk. We'll then tighten down the straps to secure the bike rack to the vehicle's trunk. more

To begin our test fit we will place our rack directly onto the trunk of our vehicle. We'll adjust it by using the black levers here on the side. We will then hook the top straps to the top part of the trunk, side straps to the side part of the trunk, and the bottom straps to the bottom of our trunk. We will then evenly tighten our straps to secure our rack to our Jetta. We will now secure our excess strap. Now we'll flip out the lower set of black levers to swing the cradle arms out. more
