Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

Today on this 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, we are going to do a test fit of part number CTM1600. We will work on the passenger side and we will go ahead and slide the mirror over the factory mirror. We will slide it into place and push it on as far as possible. There is some foam inside the towing mirror, so it will compress a little bit as you push it in. Now we will install the hardware to hold it in place. We will put the hook that goes into the front of the mirror with the round disc and then the L-shaped bracket that will help the fasteners go around the 90 degree turn. And then we will install the knob on the other side. And then we will install the hook to the other side of the 90 degree angle and install the knob onto it. Leaving this all loose in place, we will go ahead and push it around and catch the inside edge of the mirror. When our things are hooked up we can go ahead and tighten it down, it usually only takes a few turns after that. more
