Now, you may be asking yourself, "Why would I want to change from the original incandescent bulb over to an LED" Well, we've gone ahead and installed the passenger side with an LED already. And comparing between the two, you could already see how much brighter and clearer of a vision this is going to give you on the road versus the incandescent bulb. The incandescent bulb looks a little more yellowed, a little more faded. It doesn't really give you that big line of vision that you'll get out of an LED bulb. more

Now, this is a 2017 Honda Accord Coupe. This is gonna install a little bit differently from the sedan models that you're seeing more of today, which would make you go through the trunk. On the Coupe, we actually have to go into these openings that are underneath here on either side of the license plate. Now let's take a look at how we get that done. Setting Up Your Sylvania 9006SU Halogen Headlight Bulb - 2002 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Hi, everyone, Bruce here at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at and install the SYLVANIA SilverStar ULTRA Halogen Bulbs on our 2002 Chevy Blazer. Our neighbor that brought in this vehicle today for the headlamps upgrade, they actually told us they didn't even realize they had their headlamps on when they actually turned them on, because they we inchesre very dull and a very yellow light, so that may be one reason you need to go ahead and upgrade your bulbs in your vehicle as well. Now, on this particular vehicle today, we upgraded the old halogen bulbs with SYLVANIA's Halogen SilverStar ULTRA, which is the top of the line they carry. It is gonna give you the brightest light, and it is gonna travel further down the road, and also give you a wider view of the road. Now, taking a look at our SilverStar ULTRA that we just installed on the driver's side, looking at the wall here, it is a whiter light than the factory is a more yellow light. more

Hi, everyone, Bruce here at etrailer. Today we are going to install the H11 Sylvania LED light in our 2011 Ford Fusion. If you've got the old style halogen lights, you know how yellow-looking they are, and your visibility is not as great when you have an LED. Now, I think I would recommend that the Sylvania LEDs, their H11s, they're a direct replacement for your factory halogens. Now as far as the installation goes, it's not that bad on some vehicles, but this particular vehicle, it was a little bit cumbersome on the passenger side where we did have to pull off the fascia a little bit. And it doesn't give you much room to work there. more

You're just gonna remove your screws here, I'm sorry, your body panels, and you'll be able to pull back the carpeting and access everything from the rear. So I'm gonna show you how to get that going. Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Diode Dynamics SS3 pod lights with the amber backlight. Most of your Jeeps out there on the market are gonna come with factory fog lights, which is what these are going to take the place of. But some of them will come with your standard halogen bulbs and they do not do a whole lot when you're out on the road or if you're offroading, anything like that. The LED fog lights that come on like the Rubicons and the Willys models, those are actually pretty good. These lights, I still personally think that they're gonna perform better because they have more LEDs inside of them and they're really designed specifically for the fog application. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and I'm gonna show you how to change all of the taillights in the taillight assembly of your 2019 Chevy Sonic. Now I'm gonna use the Sylvania ZEVO 7440 Blade Style Bulb, and I'll show you how to get it going. So what you're gonna need to get started is a Phillips head screwdriver. It'll be helpful if you had a panel removal tool, just to get that light out of the back of the vehicle pretty easily, a pair of gloves, 'cause you don't ever want to touch a light. The oils from your hand can severely limit the lifespan on it. And we're just gonna pop this guy out. more

We're working with a 2019 Chevy Sonic and it's an easy process. You're gonna need a pair of gloves, lemme show you how to get it going. And you can see our headlights, they look very similar because they are pretty much the same model, just replacing one. The new one on the passenger side is slightly brighter, but it's gonna be completely effective as far as illuminating your path as you go down the road. So, first, you're gonna locate the housing for your headlights. more

We're gonna use the Sylvania Silver Star Ultra replacement high beam. So as you can see, your high beam is a lot brighter than the original. That Silver Star Ultra is gonna give you a lot more visibility as you're going down the road. So now, we're just gonna replace our headlight by lifting up our hood as you already know to access it. more

Hey, everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today, I have a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. I wanna walk through how to install Sylvania's SilverStar Ultra incandescent bulbs. A traditional incandescent bulb, if you're closer to my age, you kind of had that thought, "It's kind of a yellowish tint." You get on a dark road, you really can't see that far, you can't see off the side of the road very much. With these SilverStar Ultras, you get more of a white color, a brighter white, which is gonna benefit you a lot more. It's gonna give you a lot farther sight distance on those dark roads, you're gonna see a lot better off to the sides, it's gonna make it a lot more safer for you and your family. more

Sylvania 9003SU Halogen Headlight Bulb Installation Guide - 2006 Jeep TJ- Video
Hi, this is Scott with etrailer, and today we're gonna be installing Sylvania SilverStar Ultra Bulbs on this 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. The biggest difference was with the SilverStar Ultras versus your standard bulb is gonna be just how much fuller you're gonna have. Like on this one, you'll notice that it doesn't really fill the entire bulb with light and it's almost like a really dull yellow lighting here, where on the SilverStar, you could tell that it just completely filled the bulb on the inside of our housing here. It was a lot fuller. So it is gonna make a huge difference. To start our installation, we're gonna locate where our bulb is connected here. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at I'mma show you how to install the ARC LED headlights on our 2018 Hyundai Elantra. So here you can see a clear side by side comparison between our old halogen lights and our new LEDs. Now I have these in my personal vehicle and these lights when I ride in other vehicles that have halogen lights they are so much weaker and the distance that they throw out is so much shorter and you can clearly see a side by side comparison. I think that the ARC headlights are gonna look a lot better on in front of your car rather than these old dull halogens. These ARC headlights are going to be three times brighter than your typical halogen bulbs and that's gonna make a huge difference when you're out on the road, especially driving at night. more

Step-By-Step Installation Tutorial for the 194 LED Bulbs on a 2013 Ram 2500- Video
Hey guys, Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2013 Ram 2500, and we're gonna be replacing the cab clearance lights with the Tiny Monster Performance LED Lights. Before we get our last light switched out, you can see the difference, these four are the new Tiny Monster light, and this is the old one. You can also tell in the sheer size of the light that the Tiny Monster is gonna perform much better than the factory lights that came with this kit that I had installed. So to get our light replaced, depending on what kind of lights you have, if you have factory lights, most likely, you're gonna have to remove a couple of screws on the top, or you're going to have to pop this cap off in order to replace the light. (impact driver buzzing) So let's take our screws out. more

Vision X Halogen Headlight Bulbs Installation - 2016 GMC Canyon VX-LH11- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at and showing you how to install these Vision X H11 headlight bulbs here on our 2016 GMC Canyon. Now, these replacement halogen bulbs aren't gonna be necessarily super bright compared to your factory bulbs, but what they will do is give a better color temperature. Compared to the yellowy look that you see on your factory bulbs, this is gonna be more of a cool white with a 5,300 K color temperature. In addition to that, they're gonna output 900 lumens of light and be pretty comparable to those factory options, if not, maybe a little bit brighter. And like I mentioned, it's the H11 type connector. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today I'm going be showing you how to install the ARC single beam LED light bulb with anti-flicker harness, here on our 2018 Tiffin Allegro motorhome. So if you have a motor home where your light bulbs just really aren't, really cutting it, or just are starting to get burned out, or just are completely burned out, this is gonna be the right kit for you. These LED bulbs are gonna use a whole lot less energy and produce a much brighter light. And when it comes to driving one of these big beefy motorhomes around, you really need to be able to see everything around you because you really can't tell just how much space you have between you and any other object out on the road. So as you can see, looking at our two different headlights here, on our right side we still have our incandescent bulb, and on our left, we have our new LED bulb. more

Well, this one is not 80 inches wide, but could be towing a pretty wide load, and also it's just a larger vehicle. And let's be real, cab lights are a very nice aesthetic touch to a truck. Set up: 3156/3157 LED Tail Light Bulbs on a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Today on our 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're gonna be taking a look at the ARC LED tail lights. This is what they looked like before, and this is what it looks like after. It's definitely a lot brighter and it is definitely an upgrade from some of the other ones. So the nice thing about upgrading to LEDs, is they're going to last a lot longer than some of the incandescent bulbs, they're actually gonna draw a little bit less. So this one is a red bold, so it's perfect for your tail lights, and it's gonna have a temperature of 1000K, so that this means what color it is. So this is red and it really is a little bit brighter, than the white bulbs that we're there in there before. more

One, they're gonna last longer, two, they're gonna be a lot brighter, and three, they're gonna make your vehicle look a lot newer. My standard bulbs are extremely yellow and gross, this is an older vehicle, an O-1. But with these lights, whenever you're heading down the road, people are gonna think it's new. more

Adding cab lights to the roof of your truck, or in this case, it is an RV, is gonna make it look a lot more muscular and big and broad. Now, of something of this size, it is required to have these but if you're putting them on a regular truck, it's just gonna make it look big, broad, like I said, give it that big rig appearance. more

So here's what the LED light is gonna look like. And more or less it's a factory type replacement. So it's going to have the plastic connector on there that allows you to just plug this right into your factory light's housing more or less. And these are also gonna have a built-in LED driver. more

Vision X H13 Halogen Headlight Bulbs Installation - 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hi there Jeep owners. Today in your 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Vision X's super bright headlight bulbs. Each of these bulbs are going to produce 900 lumens to illuminate the road in front of you and are a direct replacement for H13 bulbs, which is the size that you'll need for your Unlimited Wrangler. And here we've got both of our lights on. You can see the one on the left is our new bulb and the one on the right is the factory bulb. And it does seem like it did a little bit brighter here with the super bright white of our new bulb in comparison to our factory bulb. more

Hi there, Ram owners. Today on your 2007 Ram 3500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Pacer Performance's Hi-Five LED truck cab lights. They're going to give it an almost factory appearance, but I like it even better due to the smoked lenses that we have. They have amber LED bulbs inside each one. It also comes with incandescent bulbs if you wanted to use them, but LEDs are significantly brighter than your incandescents. And they also last about 50 times as long. more

Set up: 9005 LED Headlight Bulbs on a 2016 Ram 1500- Video
Hey guys, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2016 Ram 1500 and I'm going to be installing the ARC LED headlights. These headlights are going to give you a much brighter view on the road. You're going to have a rich, bright, white color instead of that old dingy yellow color that you would get from your typical halogen bulbs. The benefit of having an LED over a halogen is you're not going to have to replace them. These are going to have a 30,000 hour life span in 6,000 lumens. more

The benefit of having LED headlights over incandescent bulbs is one, your LED lights are going to last a lot longer. Two, the LED lights are going to give you a much brighter view on the road over those dull yellow incandescent bulbs. These are going to be a nice upgrade from your standard HID headlights or your incandescent bulbs. Maybe you're tired of that yellowish look. They're really not giving you a lot of sight distance with those old headlights. more
