Review of the Thule Roof Cargo Carrier on a 2015 Toyota Tacoma

Today on our 2015 Toyota Tacoma we'll be doing the test fit of the Thule Canyon roof cargo basket. Part number is TH859. We already have it on our vehicle. The dimensions are 49 x 40 x 6 and can hold up to 150 pounds. We have 3 of the 4 tie-downs on already. I'll show you how we installed the last one. We have our spacer already on, we have our U-bolt with 2 washers and our thumb screws plus a cover.

We're just going to slide this underneath our crossbars, put it into the little slot it goes to. The washers need to be on top of the spacer. We go ahead and start tightening it down now. You see it has a black powder coat, that's going to help rust and corrosion, and the good thing about the cargo basket itself, if you don't have enough room in your vehicle or your cab or even in your truck bed, you can put everything on top of here. Say your taking in a sporting event or even a hunting event, you can throw all your items right on top. When we put our cover on it's a little slot that you need to go into.

I can show you here, the cover here has like a locking thing so you can lock it up and leave it on your vehicle. That's going to complete our look at the Thule Canyon roof cargo basket. That part number again TH859 on today's 2015 Toyota Tacoma.
