Today on our 2015 Honda CR-V, we're going to take a look at the Thule Sprint T-Track Roof Bike Rack. That part number is TH569. I have a bike on our rack, and we have our rack hooked up to the roof. LEt's go ahead and show a few features of it. This is a fork-mounted bike rack. See it has the skewer engaged, and how to disengage it, you turn it towards you to loosen it, but you turn it towards your driver's side. As soon as you start hearing the clicking, it's nice and snug.
Let's go ahead and move to the back. We just have our wheel sitting in a wheel cradle. We have our nice little strap with a rubber bushing protecting our spokes and our tire itself, so let's go ahead and remove that. Set that to the side, and then we're going to come up here and disengage the skewer so we can remove our bike. It should be nice and loose. Set our bike off to the side.
It's always good to get in the habit if you have any straps on your bike rack, go ahead and replace them so they don't get lost or damages. We're going to do that first. While I'm back here, I'll go ahead and explain this. The wheel cradle here actually, the little black knob underneath, you can actually move it. Say you have a bigger bike and you need more room. You can actually extend it.
It extends out. You just turn the knob to tighten it up, and we're just going to bring it right back int, and we'll tighten it all the way back down. This is a T-track bike rack, and how we do that, we just need a key to take it off. I'm just using a screwdriver. WE pull off our cap here. Inside this T-track, there was a rubber stripping.
I've taken it out, and all we do is on the cam lever, lift up. I'm going to lift up, and I'm not sure if you can see it here, but it's a nice little square washer that actually fits inside her because there's a screw on top of here on the cam lever itself. All we do is tighten it to the left your left or to your right and loosen it. We want to make sure it's nice and tight so when you clamp it down, it doesn't move at all on your T-track. We're going to put that cover back on here. I'm going to lock it back up, and we're going to go to the front and I'll show you the front one. This one has the same thing on the back, but it has 2, so we have the lock on our first one here. I'm going to bring this up like so. That one's pretty tight. The other side is nice and tight also. Like I said, if you tighten it up towards you, you can loosen it up going towards the driver's side. Like I said, clamp them down into position, and if you can see on this side, it has a little knob here that actually goes inside a little slot. You turn the key and it locks. Like I said, really good for if you want to leave your bike on your rack, or you can actually leave your bike rack itself onto your vehicle. Let's go ahead and do that again. Turn the key to lock it down, go ahead and put our cap back on, tighten it up, and there we go. You can also see we have a lock here. That would be also to lock the skewer so it won't be able to move so you can actually leave your bike on, once again. That same key here also is the same key here. That's going to be it at our look at our Thule Sprint T-Track Roof Bike Rack, fork mounted. That part number again is TH569 on today's 2015 Honda CR-v.Speaker 2: You can find this and everything else right here at etrailer.com. What's up man.
