Review of the Thule Passage Trunk Bike Racks on a 2014 Ford Fiesta

Today on our 2014 Ford Fiesta, we're doing a test-fit of the Thule Passage 2-Bike Rack. Part number on that is TH910XT. We already have a bike on our rack, I'll show you a few features now. How we mount our bike onto our rack, we have a total of 3 straps. We have 2 up top, 1 to the side which is called a anti-sway strap. First we're going to take the two off the top, then our anti-sway strap, and if you we're loading your bike, you'd just do the opposite way. Anti-sway strap first, then your other 2 straps.

Going to set the bike off to the side. Always be in a good habit to replace your straps so they don't get damaged or lost, so I'll just do that first. Now lets take a measurement just to show you overall, how many inches we're adding to our vehicle. From the back of our vehicle, out to the cradle arms, I'm showing approximately 20-1/2". Now, these cradle arms do adjust, they can fold in, so if you need to get it out the way, 2 buttons here, just press them, turn down, they click back up. Same thing on the other one.

Overall distance has changed just a little bit so let's take another measurement, just close those up, I'm looking at approximately 12". How our bike rack is held down, we have a total of 6 straps, 6 hooks, each hook is covered with a rubber coating so it doesn't damage your vehicle. We have 2 up top, 2 to the side, and 2 down below. We also have rubber paddings up top and on bottom so it don't damage your vehicle at any time. That's the look for our Thule Passage 2-Bike Rack, that part number, again, is TH910XT, on today's 2014 Ford Fiesta. Here it is on our test course. First is the slalom area which simulates side to side action like turning corners or evasive maneuvers.

Next are the alternate speed bumps which show you the twisting action like hitting a pothole, road debris, or hitting a curb. Finally we're at the solid speed bumps which show you up and down action to simulate a parking garage or coming out your driveway.
