Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna we're doing a test fit of a Tuley 00:00:05 Roadway Two Bike Rack. Part number is TH912XTR. Now I have a bike on our rack. We have our rack hooked up to the vehicle. Just going to show you a few features here. How we have our bike tied onto our vehicle, we have a total of three straps.
We have two straps up top, we have a strap to the side which we call our anti-swish 00:00:25 strap. We want to remove the two on top first. Then you want to take off the anti-swish strap. Then if you're loading your bike you just do it the opposite way. Now I'm going to set this off to the side.
Now we always say get in a good habit to replace your straps so they don't get lost or damaged. We're going to do that first. All right, got that done Now I'm going to take a couple of measurements just to show you overall distance we've added to our vehicle. That will be 24 inches and our closest point will be here and I'm showing two inches. Then for our ground clearance, I'm looking down there, I'm looking at nine inches. Now the arms on this particular Tuley rack actually come down so by pulling up on the gray lever here we can bring our arms down and another position we're in.
Now I'm going to take one more measurement and I'm looking at approximately ten inches. Now, this also has a tilting feature so if you need to get in and out of the back of your hatch, the gray lever down here just pull up, bring down and now you can get in and out of the back of your hatch. You have enough room on both sides to put anything in or take anything out so that's a good feature here. Now we're going to bring it back up to the regular position, just grabbing your bike rack, pulling it up to the clicking position, there we go. Now down here, this is equipped for one and a quarter and two inch hitches. Today we're using a two inch hitch.
This also comes with an anti-rattle bolt. It's on this side, I'm sorry. That's going to keep that movement out of that shank as you're riding down the road so you have a smooth ride in your vehicle and outside your vehicle. That's going to be it for our look at the Tuley Roadway Two Bike Rack hanging style. Part number again is TH912TXR on today's 2015 Toyota Sienna. Let's see how it performs on the test course.Speaker 2: Here it is on our test course. First it's a slotum 00:02:45 area which simulates side to side action like turning the corners or evasive maneuvers. Next are the alternate speed bumps, which show you the twisting action like hitting a pot hole, road debris or hitting a curb. Finally we're at the solid speed bumps which show the up and down action to simulate a parking garage or coming out of your driveway.
