Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna, we're doing a test fit of the Swagman Dispatch 2-Bike Rack, platform style. That part number is S64684. I have a bike on our rack and we have our rack hooked up to our vehicle. I'm just going to show you a few features of it. How our bike is held down, we have our frame hook here, pretty much holds it all down. Let me go ahead and move this one out the way to show you how it works. You press the black button here, pull up, always hold onto your bike, but when you're ready to engage it, just pull down til you stop.
Nice and secure. In our wheel cradles, we have a front wheel and a back wheel, but each wheel has a bushing and a strap that holds down our tire and protects your spokes, so we're going to go ahead and remove the first one, the front, set that to the side, and then we come back, do the back one. Now we're ready to remove our bike, so once again, hold onto your bike, we're going to disengage our frame hook. Now we can remove our bike. Set this off to the side. Now I'm going to replace our straps.
It's always a good habit to do it so you don't damage or lose them, go ahead and do that now. Now we go that done, going to take a few measurements now. First measurement I like to take will be overall distance, what we added to our vehicle, looking at approximately 28" here. Our closest point to our bike rack, I'm looking right here, that's 6-1/2" here, then for our ground clearance, I'm looking at 9-1/2". The only thing I could tell you here, we can move our frame hooks up and down, but we can also move our mast. Say you need to get in the back hatch of your vehicle, pull this button here, it says 'pull', comes down, clicks.
Now, in this position, you can get in and out of your hatch if you need to put anything in or take anything out, got plenty of room. The other I can tell you here, this is equipped for a 2" hitch, it does come with an anti-rattle bolt and clip, so it takes most of that movement out of your shank as you're riding down the road, so you have a smoother ride inside of your vehicle and outside you're vehicle. That's going to be it for our look at the Swagman Dispatch 2-Bike Rack, platform style. That part number, again, is S64684 on today's 2015 Toyota Sienna. Let's see how it performs on our test course. Here it is on our test course. First is the slalom area which simulates side to side action like turning the corners or evasive maneuvers.
Next are the alternate speed bumps which show you the twisting action like hitting a pothole, road debris, or hitting a curb. Finally we're at the solid speed bumps which show you up and down action to simulate a parking garage or coming out your driveway.
