Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade. We are going to do a test fit of the Rocky Mount Aero Bar Roof Rack. The part number for the cross bars are RKY3056 and for the flag staff towers is RKY3002. We are going to put on one. I am going to show you how to put the back one on. We have here our cross bar. We have our ...
This is he flag tower. We have our end cap. The two that actually comes with it is similar to this but it has a black handle, but it is the exact same way. We have a tape measure. I already have one of our foot pads already on. I am going to show you how to slide the other one on.
I have already taken off the end cap, set it of to the side, and how you want to take it off. I am going to show you real quick. You push the button inside, like so, and it just pull out. We are going to take this. Slide this in our T slot and I am going to go ahead and put our end cap on. There we go.
Now we are ready to go ahead and put it on our vehicle. I just want to set it over here. This one here. Make sure this is sitting on there right. All right. The first thing I want to do is go ahead and just measure to see what our overhang will be.
Trying to make sure you measure them just right. As soon as we got that set, start to tying it down. That is about right. The spread, I didn't see any particular thing, but we are going to go with 25 inches. We are going to go from the center here, to the center of the other one. That is about right there. Go ahead and do it on the other side. In your instructions it should show you the minimum and the maximum of your spread. I am hoping, I'm doing 25, that should be at least the minimum. I am going to go ahead and lift this up and take our tool. It is an LM bolt in there. Starting to tighten it down. I am going to switch to both sides, and make sure not either side doesn't get pulled to one side. I started on that side and now I am going to move over here. the good thing about the Rocky Mount Roof Rack. You can find other accessories on our website, such as bike racks, ski and snow board carriers or even kayak carriers also. I just want to keep going until it gets nice and snug around the factory rails. All right, that is about tight. The good thing about that also, it has a cord here so wanted to get a lock and lock them onto your vehicle, you can find that on our website also. Couple of more turns here and we are ready to go. That is going to complete our look at the Rocky Mounts Aero Bar Roof Rack on today's 2015 Jeep Renegade.
