The bike rack weighs 8 1/2 pounds and is 68 inches long by 6 1/4 inches wide. It has a one year limited warranty.

This rack also features a cut out for mountain bikes with disc breaks. Now that weve gone over some specs of the bike rack, well go ahead and show you how to install it. To begin our installation, we will first need to adjust the underside of the bike rack to fit the crossbars. Well then pop off the front cover of the bike rack and loosen up the straps. Once the straps are loose, we can undo the straps and wrap the strap around the crossbar, securing it at the top of the rack.

We will then move to the rear of the rack and secure the bracket on the underneath side of the crossbar and tighten it down using the included Allen key. Once the rear of the rack is tightened down, well then move to the front and use the Allen key to tighten that down and then replace the plastic cover. Before tightening down the rack all the way, youre going to need to make sure that the bike rack is perpendicular to the crossbars so you can get a nice and secure fit. Once the rack is secured to the vehicle, were ready to load the bike. To load the bike, well undo the tray strap, set the bike onto the rack, and insert the forks onto the skewer. Well then tighten up the skewer and clamp it down and then move to the rear of the rack and secure it with the tray strap. Now that our bike is tightened down and secured to the vehicle, well go ahead and show you how it looks driving down the road. That concludes todays review of the Rocky Mounts Tierod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier Fork Mount, part number RKY1011.
