Today in our 2015 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to do a test fit of the rhino right mountain trail roof bike carrier. Part number RBC035. Now, we have our bike on our carrier and we have our carrier hooked to our vehicle. Now what I'd like to do is show you a few features. Now this is a fort mite carrier as you can see, the secure is engaged. Now I'm going to move towards the back. Now we have our wheel to sit in our wheel cradle with a nice strap protecting the wheel, just holding it down.
We're going to take that off. Then we're going to go upfront and we're going to disengage our skewer here. And we're going to start to un-loosen it. Just keep turning here. All right, now we can take off our bike. All righty, and set it off to the side.
Now if you have any straps on you bike carriers, please go ahead and replace them so you don't lose them, or damage them. While I'm back here let me just tell you, if you have a bigger bike or a smaller bike this actually adjusts. So, let me take this out the easy way. So it adjusts along the frame here to fit your size bike you need. Put this back. Now here we just have our universal holders here.
We have a nice plate with a cushion that going to protect your cross bars with two thumb screws. Now this pretty much fits any kind of cross bars. We're using an arrow. Now upfront we have our two, lets see, metal strips, that are coated with a rubber coating so it doesn't damage our cross bars here. We're going to take the plate off here. Now if they fit into the spot here and this outer screw is how we tighten and loosen it.
You just loosen it up to where you can get it around. Till you tighten it around like so. Also with the covering she has a lock so if you wanted to leave your bike rack and your bike on the vehicle, you sure can. So, we're going to put this back up here and that's going to complete our look at the rhino rack mountain trail roof top bike carrier that part number is RB035 on today's 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Here it is on our test course. First its a slide area, which simulates side to side action, like turning corners or evasive maneuvers. Next are the ultimate speed bumps, which show you the twisting action, like hitting a pot hole, road debris, or hitting a curb. Finally we are at the silent speed bumps, which shows you up and down action to simulate a parking garage or coming out of your driveway.
