Review of the Reese Ram LED Lighted Trailer Hitch Cover

Today we're going to be looking at the Reese Ram LED light up trailer hitch cover. Part number 86066. This hitch cover comes with all the hardware you need to get it installed in either an inch and a quarter or two inch receiver. It provides all the benefits of a standard cover, keeping out dirt and debris, with the added benefit of lighting up to show your Ram pride. It's a brilliant chrome by day and a fiery red Ram by night. It lights up when your running lights are on or when your brake is depressed. It's constructed with durable plastic so it's going to be corrosion resistant.

It also includes a foam gasket to help reduce rattle. It features LED lights so it's going to be long lasting and it simply plugs into your vehicle's existing for pole. Now that we've gone over the features, we'll go ahead and show you how easy it is to install. You'll need to provide your own pin and clip. If you don't have one, that's okay, you can find one here at Etrailer.com. That's part number PC3.

Let's go ahead and feed it into our receiver and line up our pin holes. That's pretty close. For this one, I'm just going to press in on the gasket a little bit. Put our pin through, then follow by our clip. Then we'll take our four pull plug and plug it in. Now, let's try it out.
