Review of the Race Ramps Service and Display Restyler Magna Ramps

Jake: Hey guys, Jake here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how helpful these Race Ramp Restyler Magna Ramps can be. This platform is going to be great for those instances where you don't want to carry around heavy jack stands to lift up your car to service it, and it's going to provide a nice steady base if you want to show off your car.Let's go over some of the features that are going to set this platform apart from other platforms. First off, this center section, you're going to be able to pull it out and use it as a bench or a step to be able to detail your car or to work on anything. Along with this feature of the removable center piece, you can also use it if you are showing your car and you want to allow people to get up into your vehicle, but you don't want to take it down off the platform, you can use it as a step, it'll be a nice sturdy base for people to get in and out of your vehicle. If you're wanting a cleaner look and you just want the platforms to be sitting underneath the tires, you can simply remove the lightweight piece and get it out of your way. Along with being able to remove that center piece.

You can remove the ramps on the end very easily so that your car is sitting up on just the wheels. The ramps are going to have nice convenient handles on either side to be able to make it a little bit easier for you to carry it and store it.In your kit is going to come a nice, clean looking end cap and it's easily removable, but when showing a car, I would recommend leaving that end piece on because it finishes off the end of your ramps. The end cap is also going to have a nice slant on the vehicle side to let you know when you need to stop. With that being said, I would always recommend having a spotter so that you know when to stop. In the middle of the platforms. The ramps are going to have a textured coating that's going to prevent the ramps from slipping when you're driving onto them.

It's also going to resist water and any fluids that might be coming off of your vehicle. The ramps when sitting on a floor are also not going to scratch, mark, or scrape the floor so you're not going to have to worry about it if you're in a convention center or a hall somewhere where you have your car parked inside.Something extra that Race Ramps added that I think is a really cool feature, is that the added these metal strips into the sides of each of the platforms that your wheels are sitting on, these are going to be the gloss strips that you see right here, they're going to be able to be paired with magnetic tools or magnetic shells that you might have at home to be able to hold any repair tools or detailing tools that you can need right next to where you're using them.Another convenient characteristic about these ramps that's going to be to your advantage is that they're very, very light. Not one single piece of this ramp is going to come in at more than 40 pounds, so it's going to be very easy to handle and set it into place. Every piece is going to assemble just like a puzzle so you can reassemble it with ease. One thing that's really nice about this kit is that you can make it your own. If you don't quite feel comfortable backing your vehicle off of this platform, you can take the ramps and move them from the rear where you pulled the vehicle up to the front to be able to pull your vehicle off.

Now one thing to keep in mind is that you want to make sure you have enough ground clearance on your front bumper to be able to clear the ground. You also want to make sure that your rear bumper has enough space when coming down off the ramps that it doesn't drag on the ramps. The themselves are going to be 16 inches wide and you're going to be able to fit a tire up to 14 inches wide on them. The whole kit is going to have a weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. That's 3000 pounds per ramp. You just want to make sure you check with the owner's manual of your vehicle to see how much your car weighs before you pull it up.In my personal opinion, I really, really liked these ramps because it means I'm not going to have to lug around any metal ramps or metal jacks to be able to Jack my car up to show it off to other people.

I also think Race Ramp did a really good job of not only making them extremely useful and helpful, but they made them look stylish too.If you've done your research and you find that this set might be a little bulky for your use, if you're wanting it to be a little bit more mobile, there are smaller condensed sets available here at etrailer. Those sets are going to be a little bit smaller pieces, but there's going to be more of them. You're, you're still gonna get that same 14 inches of height out of your ramps. Now that we've gone over some cool features about these ramps, let's go ahead and show you how we got our car loaded up here. The angle of approach for these ramps is going to be about 10 degrees. This is going to be perfect for low ground clearance vehicles. These ramps are going to fit vehicles with wheel bases from 82 inches all the way up to 128 inches.Well guys, with all that being said, I hope that information helps you. That's going to do it for our look at the Race Ramps Restyle Magna Ramps.
