Review of the Pilot Brake and Tail Light Hitch Receiver Cover

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Pilot break and trailer hitch receiver light. Part number CR-007A This two inch by two inch hitch cover provides all the benefits of a regular hitch cover, keeping out dirt and debris with the added benefit of lighting up for safety. It lights up when either your running lights are on, or when the breaks are depressed. It's constructed of a durable ABS plactic and includes a foam gasket to help reduce rattle. It plugs into your existing four pull connection. The incandescent bulb is easily replaced. Now that we've gon over the features I'll go ahead and show you how easy it is to install.

You'll need to provide your own pin and clip. If you don't have one that's okay, you can find one at our website at part number PC3. Let's go ahead and feed it into our receiver tube and we'll line up our pin holes. That looks pretty good. Then we'll take our pin and clip and slide that through.

Put our clip in place. Then we can grab our four pull connection and we'll just plug it into our four pull outlet. Now lets try it out. Works great, now lets try our breaks. That's going to complete our look at the Pilot break and trailer hitch receiver light, part number CR-007A.
