Review of the Optronics LED Off-Road Light Bar

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at Optronics off road LED light bar, part number UCL22CB. We've got ours mounted here on the top of our bumper, but it can be also placed on top of your hood, in your truck bed, really wherever you want it. It works on both a 12 volt and 24 volt system, so it can not only be placed on your truck, but on your boat, your camper, wherever you'd like. It's designed for off road use, so it has a water resistant construction, and it features heat dissipating fins located on the back so you can operate the light for long periods of time without the worry of it overheating. And this is what our light's gonna look like. It's a combination spot beam and flood beam, so it'll let you see at a distance as well as off to both sides. It has a power output of 180 watts and a light intensity of 6777 lumens.

If you loosen the Allen screw on each end with the included Allen key, you're able to pivot the light. We've already got the other side piece. Now pivot it up or down. You just tighten it back down to snug it up. There's a series of teeth on the inside of the bracket and the bulb that mash it together, keeping it in place. Here in the center you can see the two rows of ten spot beams, and on each side you'll have two rows of ten flood lamps.

This will give you a long range direct beam in the front and wide spreading beams on each side. It includes the universal mounting kit, which we've got it installed here. It attaches on each side of our light and includes the hardware that you'll need to run into any surface. You just need to drill an appropriate hole and run it down. On the bottom of each leg there'll be a rubber pad to make sure you don't cause any scratches or abrasions to the surface, and it also helps cut down on vibration on your lamp.To power your lights, you'll just need one ground wire and one power wire.

We've got our ground wire just run to the frame and our power wire we have hooked up to a relay. You can pick up switches and relay kits here at etrailer.com to use to get your light grounded. And that completes our look at Optronics off road LED light bar, part number UCL22CB.
