Review of the Maxxtow Off Road Lights

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at MaxxTow's Off-Road LED Lights, part number MT70882. As you can see here, we've got them installed behind our bumper, but they can be mounted anywhere, whether it be on your roof or in your bed. They can be used in a wide range of situations from fishing at night to hunting. You can also try them out on your boat or trailer. As you can see here, we've got it mounted at the front of our boat so after a long day of fishing, the sun goes down, and we need to get back, we flip on our light and find our way home. And this is what our lights are going to look like when it's installed. These are ultra-bright spotlights.

We've currently got them set up as fog lights on this vehicle, but you can place them anywhere on your vehicle where you'd like. They have a long distance light that'll extend so you can see things far away. You'll get two ultra-bright white LED lights that feature a focused beam with a 30-degree spread. Together the two lights draw 36 watts of power, and they put out 630 Lumens. It's a heavy duty, weather-resistant light, so it's intended to be outdoors. It's got a durable steel construction.

You can feel it's got some weight to it. This thing's really strong. It features six LEDs inside of each lens with each one being a three watt bulb.On the back it features heat dissipating fins so that way you can have an extended use without worrying about any internal damage from occurring. The included mounting bracket attaches using a single bolt which allows it to pivot back and forth, and on our side of our bracket here it has a curved slot which allows it to pivot as well. Once you've found your desired setting, you can tighten all of these down and lock it in that position. And now I'll show you how we got it mounted on our truck.

We positioned it behind our bumper. We've got it mounted on the thick steel plate on the backside of our bumper, but it can be mounted anywhere. Just drill a hole for your bolt and run it through. The wiring runs to a power and ground source. We've currently got it tapped into our fog light circuit, so when we press the fog light button in our vehicle, our lights will come on.Now, if you just run the lights to power and ground, they'll be on all the time.

We do have a lot of different switch options that you can pick up here at etrailer.com.And that completes our look at MaxxTow's Off-Road LED Lights, part number MT70882.
