Review of the MaxxTow Off-Road Light Bar

Today we're going to be taking a look at MaxxTow's 31-1/2" long LED Off-Road Light Bar, part number MT80633. And this is what our light looks like when it's installed. It has a combination of flood and spotlights, the spotlights are towards the center for seeing at a distance, and the flood lights are off on the sides so you can see a wide range of view. The 60 LEDs produce 13,200 lumens and draw 180 watts of power. What's great about this light bar is the versatility you have when you install it. It can be placed in many different ways, whether you're using it in the back of your truck to see behind you or in the front for some extra view when off roading.

Our customer has his wired behind the grill, so they come on when he turns on his fog lights. There's many different ways you could wire it up. It does come with its own relay harness and switch included with the kit so you can have a manual button to turn on and off or you could wire it into your fog lights like our customers has done here. It's also great on UTVs, tractors, and other outdoor equipment. There's 12 flood beams on each side and 36 spotlights in the middle. On the back of our light, we'll have heat sink fins that run across it to help keep it cool. It's a durable, lightweight aluminum so you don't have to worry about any rust and it also has a black powder coat finish to further prevent against corrosion.

The entire housing is weather resistant and features a clear glass lens to protect the LEDs.It's extremely easy to install. You only have to make to wire connections to the vehicle: your ground circuit and your power circuit, and we connected these right at the battery for power and right at the frame ground. But you can really connect to it anywhere from power and ground. It has its own built in 30 amp fuse to protect the circuit and a relay so you can have a low power switch to turn it on and off, but have all the high power going to your light protected through its own circuits, through the relay. Our customers compare this to the 31-1/2" light beam from Pilot Automotive and while they're very similar in their light output, installation, and shape, the MaxxTow is gonna include the wiring harness, which is going to save you time and money, not having to purchase any additional components to get it mounted right up out of the box. Whereas the Pilot's going to require you to purchase additional wiring to get it installed. Our customer, Greg, wrote in an ad to say, "For the cost, I cannot ask for a better quality light bar.

It's well put together, brighter than I expected, and holds up to the rigors of being attached to my UTV." And then one year later he wrote it again to say, "Still going strong despite several wax from random tree branches."And that completes our look at MaxxTow's 31-1/2" Long LED Off-Road Light Bar, part number MT80633.
