Review of the Lets Go Aero LittleGiant Trailer

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Let's Go Aero Little Giant torsion trailer, part number TLK864. This light weight aluminum trailer can be delivered to your front door. It has a 3/4 ton capacity and pulls easy with cars, SUVs, or trucks. The all-galvanized steel construction means it's going to be rust-free and corrosion-resistant. The trailer includes two 13 inch tires with silver rims and a torsion axle with a grease bearing system for low maintenance. The independent rubber dam and wheel suspension is going to provide for a smoother ride. Here at the front, as you can see, it's an A-frame style, with a 2 inch coupler that has a combination spur jack, it also includes safety cables.

The trailer has a class 1 or higher tow rating with a tongue weight of 30 lbs. Empty, the trailer weighs 420 lbs. It has a payload rating of 1,500 lbs. The trailer is wired for your standard 4 pole connection. As you can see, we have 2 tail lights and a side marker light, one on each side. The removable front and rear gates make loading and unloading cargo of all sizes a snap.

The top of the rail, here, on both sides features C-channels so you can mount all your Let's Go Aero accessories. It's a bolt together kit that comes with everything you need to get it assembled. The trailer bed measures 86 3/4 long by 56 1/2 inches wide, by 23 inches deep. Overall, from the end of the coupler to the end of the trailer, it measures 119 inches. From tire to tire, outside dimension, it measures 72 inches, and from the ground up to the top of the trailer is 43 inches. Now that we have gone over some features, let's go ahead and load up some weight and show you what it looks like in action. Now, we're loading it up with roughly 1,200 lbs of weight.

With the weight added, our height is now 42 inches, so that's the suspension doing its job. Here in our test courts, let's first go 0n to our slalom. This is going to show some side to side action as it is going around corners or evasive maneuver. Then on to our alternating speed bumps, this is going to show a twisting action, such as going over pot holes or uneven pavement. Then finally, on to our solid speed bumps, this is going to show an up and down action, such as pulling in and out of a driveway or out of a parking lot. Now we'll run it through the test course one more time so you can get a good look at the suspension. That's going to complete our look at the Let's Go Aero Little Giant torsion trailer, part number TLK864..
