Today in this 2002 GMC Envoy, we're going to be test fitting the Let's Go Arrow Gear Cage Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches, part number HCR222. The dimensions for this cargo carrier are going to be 48 inches wide by 32 inches long. It has this nice 3 part surface here. It's going to be nice and sturdy, hold everything for you. It will be about 300 pounds weight capacity that you can use. Let's go ahead and give you some measurements. We're going to start off by how much has been added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier's installed. We'll measure from the bumper.
It's going to be about 44 inches. We'll do the ground clearance next. It's going to be to about here, it's going to be about 18 and a half inches. Then we'll do the closest point to the bumper, which will be this bar here. That's going to be around 9 inches. I would like to point out that the exhaust on this vehicle is on the passenger side and it faces down so you're not going to have to really worry too much about that too much with heat sensitive materials or anything like that. Also, of ours, with nothing in there, you can have full access to our cargo area.
We're going to go ahead and give you the break-over point measurement. That will let you know how tall you can stack things on your cargo carrier. That's about 25 inches there. This is for 2 inch hitches only and it does come with an anti rattle bolt and pin so it doesn't move around or jostle around while you drive. There you have it for the test fit of our Let's Go Arrow Gear Cage Cargo Carrier, part number HCR222 on our 2002 GMC Envoy. Here it is on our test course. We'll start by going through the Slalom. This is going to show us the side to side action which simulates turning corners or evasive maneuvers.
Next, we're at the alternating speed bumps. This will simulate hitting a curb or pot hole or driving over uneven pavement. Finally, we have the full speed bumps where we'll see the up and down action which is just like driving out of a parking lot, garage, or driveway. .
