Review of the Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Racks on a 2015 Toyota Tacoma

Today, on our 2015 Toyota Tacoma, we're doing a test fit of the Kuat Trio Roof Bike Carrier, part #TR02. We have a bike on our carrier, and we have our carrier hooked to our vehicle, just going to show you a few features. This is a fork-mounted carrier as you can see, with the skewers engaged. Now we're going to move toward the back, and we have our back wheel just sitting in the wheel cradle here with a strap pretty much just holding it down. We're going to remove this first, then we're going to come up front, and to disengage, you can just pull out like so, and you can tighten it and loosen it over here, so I'm going to go over here and loosen it up a little bit, and now we can take off our bike. Alrighty, I'm going to set it off to the side, and if you have any straps on your bike carriers, you need to go ahead and replace them so you don't loosen or damage them. While back here, just want to show you, if you have a bigger bike or a smaller bike, you actually can adjust it on the frame here to what size you need for. Under here, on our crossbars, we just have a nice little cover .. Well, a nice little plate that's covering up our crossbars with our two thumb screws, with the two bolts that's actually just go through the T-spot under here, so this going to fit around pretty much all your crossbars.

Up front, we have two u-bolts with four Allen screws, this actually sit in, and I have the tool in my pocket, show you that tool real quick. This tool here actually comes with the kit, and you just tighten it around your crossbars, and like I say, that pretty fit firm with all your crossbars. Today, we're using our arrow, and like I said, this skewer here, it stays out the way as long as you ready to load your bike up. That's going to complete our look at the Kuat Trio Bike Carrier, that part # again is TR02 on today's 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Here it is on our test scores, first at the slalom area, which simulates side-to-side action like turning the corners or evasive maneuvers. Next are the alternate speed bumps, which show you the twisting action like hitting a pothole, road debris, or hitting a curb. Finally, we have the solid speed bumps, which show the up and down action to simulate a parking garage or coming out your driveway..
