Review of the Inno Roof Cargo Carrier on a 2015 Mazda CX-5

Today on our 2015 Mazda CX-5, we're going to do a test fit of the Inno Shadow Rooftop Cargo Box, part number INBRA1170CA. We already have it on our vehicle. I'm just going to show you a few features of it. It has a carbon fiber finish as you can see. We can load this from either side. We're going to load it from the passenger's side today. I'm going to show you how we can load it from the driver's side.

We turn the key, push the button, open up. We have 3 of the 4 memory clamps already on here. We're going to show you how to install the last one. On here it has a "right" way and a "wrong" way. The circle is the "right" way.

The "X" is the "wrong" way, so you always want to make sure you run your crossbars correctly. We have a weather stripping in here. I'm going to slide it through there. All right. Now I need to go ahead and unloosen this a little bit so we can get it clamped around. Now this cargo box is geared for taking that long trip when you need more room in your vehicle.

You can put your luggage up here or any other items, or if you're going on a hunting trip you can put your hunting attire in here. Okay, we've got that clamped down. Now I'm going to the other side and show you that it can open from both sides. Now this holds up to 11 cubic feet so you can pretty much load your skis if you're going skiing, surfboards if you're going to the beach. Now, once again we turn the key, push the button and it can open on both sides.

Now you can bring it over this way if you want to load it from the driver's side, but we have it on our passenger side today. I'm going to close this up and there's one more thing I want to show you. If you needed to get in your rear hatch you still will be able to get inside it and it won't touch, so just to keep that in mind. That's going to complete our look at the Inno Shadow Rooftop Cargo Box, and that part number again is INBRA1170CA on today's 2015 Mazda CX-5.
