Review of the Inno Roof Cargo Carrier on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow series Rooftop Mounted Cargo Box. This is going to be your 11 cubic feet of cargo space. It's going to be part #INBRA1170CA. It's going to come with that nice carbon fiber finish, keep in mind it will not be all carbon fiber, just the finish. All right. Let's go ahead and get it up on the vehicle, and show you how it fits and operates. The easiest way to do this is going to be to have your feet on the inside, and then once we get it up here, we can put them in place.

First we'll get it centered on the vehicle. All right, that looks real good. Let's get up top, and open it up. Once we're up top, we'll unlock it, press the button, and open it up. Now, we'll take a look at these quick fit feet. All right, you can see that they have the nice hooks, that are going to be rubber coated and protected.

It does have your cargo tie-down. And the nice thing about the quick fit, is that any of your vehicles that you put it on, if you have it on . Say, these square bars, these load bars, if you set it to these load bars, it's going to remain the same. You won't need to reset it and screw any of the wing nuts down or anything like that. All you'll simply do is close it up, and you'll be ready to go.

When you're ready to take it off, open it up, pull it off, and you're done. Really quick and easy set up. It makes your life a whole lot easier. So we'll simply set it down in the rail there. You can see it comes down and around our load bars. Then we'll tighten it up by turning the gray dial on the foot to the right.

If you want to loosen it you go to the left. You can see once it gets real stiff, that's where we want to have it. That way we make sure we get a nice, tight fit, around those bars. You can see that it bypasses itself on each side. It kind of overlaps, to make sure we get the tightest fit. All right. Grabbing the next one. Again, setting it down into the rails, and around our load bars. Your initial setup's going to be the longest. But after that it'll be real quick and easy. All right, let's move over to the other side. Always remember to lock each side and take your key with you when you're done on each side. Because if you we're to open up both sides at the same time, you would dislodge the hinge and it would create quite a problem. So always make sure that you're only opening up one side at a time. Now these boards, or these cargo boxes, are going to be great for maybe even your snowboards or any kind of cargo control that you're trying to do before your trip. Say, you wanted some extra space for your children, or your pets, this will give you that perfect opportunity with it's 11 cubic feet of cargo space, to do so. Makes it especially easy on those long road trips that we're all used to. All right, simply close it down. Remember that you'll have these nice cargo tie down points as well, and it comes with those nice straps to make it even easier on you to secure your load. All right, once we're all tightened up, we'll make sure it's nice and secure. Lock it, and take your key with you. We'll take a look at the back of the vehicle here. You can see that we won't need to worry about when the hatch opens with any clearance issues, just because it does sit so far forward on the vehicle. And with the Unlimited, it does have that nice, long top on it, to make it a lot easier.
