Today on our 2015 Mazda CX-5, we're going to do a test fit of the INNO Fork Lock Roof Mounted Bike Carrier. Part number INXA391. Now I have a bike on our rack, and we have a rack hooked to our vehicle. Just going to show you a few features of it. This is a fork mounted bike rack, as you can see. I'm going to lift up our cover here. This is our skewer, it's engaged. To un-engage we pull out, unloosen it and tighten it on this side.
Let's go ahead and get that engaged. Cover up. Going to move toward the back. Now our wheel is just sitting in our wheel cradle. We have this nice strap that's going to protect our wheel and our spokes. We're going to go ahead and remove that first.
Just set it off to the side. Then we're going to come up front, open up our lid, and disengage our skewer. Go ahead and unloosen it a little bit. Then we can take off our bike. All right. Set this off to the side.
All right. Now if you have any straps on your bike rack you always want to replace them so you don't lose them or damage them. Going to be the first thing we do. While I'm back here I'd like to show you that this actually moves. It adjusts to any size bike that you have.
So if you have a smaller bike, or a bigger bike, just move it to where you need to go. Strap it on and you're good to go. Back here, I wanted to show you, this is a T Mount T track mounted bike rack. So I need to take off our cover here. With the INNO, and we're using the INNO arrow bars, you don't have to take out the rubber weather strip. It actually can stay in, and it actually slides right into the little groove. IT has a nice little Adam bolt on top, where you tighten it down. It's just a square piece of metal, with a screw in there, and as you want to tighten it down, you just tighten it down to your T-track, and it won't move at all, it's nice and sturdy. Let's go ahead and put our end cap back on, and we're going to move to the front. The same thing up here. This time we have 2- 2 Adam Bolts here, nice and tight. Once again, it just slides into the T-slot, the good thing you don't have to take out the weather stripping. That's a great feature. You just slide it in, tighten down what you need to tighten down. Don't over tighten it. You just put your cap back on and you're good to go. Let's go ahead and put back our cap on. Put our cap on here, and we're ready to go. That's going to complete our look at the INNO Fork Lock Roof Mounted Bike Carrier. Part number again is INXA391 on today's 2015 Mazda CX-5. Let's see how it does on our test course. First at the slotted area, which simulates side to side action, like turning the corners or evasive maneuvers. Next are the alternate speed bumps, which show you the twisting action, like hitting a pothole, road debris, or hitting a curb. Finally we have the solid speed bumps which show you up and down action to simulate a parking garage or coming out your driveway.
