Today on our 2013 Toyota Prius C we're doing a test fit of the INNO Fork Lock III Bike Carrier, part number INA391. Now we have the bike on our carrier. We have a carrier hooked to our vehicle. I'm just going to show you a few features. Now this is a fork mounted bike rack as you can see. The skewer is engaged underneath my cover. I move to the back.
We have our wheel sitting in the wheel cradle. We just have a strap pretty much holding it down, so we're going to go ahead and remove this. We have to come up front, turn our key here, take off our top. Then we're going to disengage our skewer, unloosen it on this side, now we're going to take off the bike. I'm going to set it off to the side. Now I'm going to come back and pretty much replace the strap here so we don't lose it or damage it.
While I'm back here, just to show you, this actually moves along your frame. If you have a bigger bike or a smaller bike, you can put it to where you need it and you could see that the wheel cradle itself can fit up to many sized bikes, mostly your mountain bikes or your road bikes. Here we just have a universal holder on our crossbar. We have 2 thumb screws with a nice little plate that's sitting on there, nice and tight under there. Now we'll go up front here. Our cam lever here, we're going to take this down.
Come on the other side here and we'll show you how we have this under here. Underneath there is pretty much a square nut that's on a bolt. What you want to do is get it in tact to the slot. nice and tight, bring it over and clamp it down. Now, when that's clamped down, we put on our lid. We turn the key.
For security you can leave your bike on it all night. That's going to complete our look at the Inno Fork Lock III Bike Carrier and that part number, again, is INA391, on today's 2013 Toyota Prius C. Here it is on our test course. First is the slalom area which simulates side to side action like turning the corners or evasive maneuvers. Next are the alternate speed bumps which show you the twisting action like hitting a pot hole, road debris or hitting the curb. Finally, we have the solid speed bumps which show the up and down action to simulate a parking garage or coming out your driveway.
