Review of the CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro Turbo Bike Trainer

Today we'll be taking a look at the CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro Bike Trainer, part number CY9014. This is also available as a training kit with 2 climbing blocks, a training mat and a sweat guard, part number CY9322. The CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro is a top-level magnetic trainer. It features 4 manual adjusted levels of progressive magnetic resistance: easy, road, interval and mountain. With progressive resistance, the harder you pedal, the harder it becomes to pedal. It's going to fit most road and mountain bike frames with the included quick-release skewer.

The 2 inch roller fits 650B, 700C and 26 inch through 29 inch wheel sizes and with a tire width of up to 2.5 inches. The SuperMagneto comes pre-assembled in a fold-flat design. To get it set up, it's pretty easy. Just raise it up. We'll press in on our G-tense. Fold out our legs.

Adjust our resistance wheel out. Grab our included skewer and we'll replace it with our skewer on our bike. Then we'll take our bike and we'll line up our skewer with our clamp. We'll put this side in first, just like that. Then we'll line up our clamp knob on this side to where it fits in with our skewer.

We'll adjust it out until it makes contact. Then we'll tighten it three more times. Then we can adjust our resistance wheel to our tire. What we'll want to do is we'll come back here to this yellow knob back here. We'll tighten that up and when it clicks twice, that's when we know we've got it. Now we can hop on and enjoy the realistic feel of a ride without the worry of tire wear or slippage.

Some additional accessories for your CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro Trainer: a Bluetooth virtual trainer, part number CY30319; a leveling block, part number CY9702; a riser block, part number CY9701; or a training tire, part number CY9710. That's going to complete our look at the CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro Bike Trainer, part number CY9014.
