Review of the Buyers Products Amber Strobe Warning Light

Hi everyone, it's Colin here at etrailer. Today we're going to take a look at the beacon strobe light from Buyers Products. This is an amber colored warning light. Ti's going to be a great tool to have. Some common uses for it might be snow plow trucks, towing trucks, landscapers, or even if you're the lead or the follow in an oversized load situation. Really just if you want someone to know that you're currently working and to keep their distance, or to come around you. This is going to serve that purpose very well.It is going to have the one flash pattern, with a clear colored incandescent bulb on the inside with an amber housing on the outside to give you that amber color.

Incandescent bulbs are going to be very bright so it's going to make sure that it's very visible even during the day.Now when it comes to mounting it to your roof, you do actually have two options. We're using the temporary mount right now with the magnet that is included on the back side. The magnet has a nice soft padding on the outside. It's going to help make sure it doesn't scratch or abrase the top of your vehicle. There is also an option to permanently mount it using the pre-drilled mount holes.

The hardware is included, just keep in mind you will have to drill into your roof to get that permanently mounted. Personally, I enjoy the magnetic mount. It's got a strong hold on it. At the end of the day, I like to take to take it off of my roof and then stow it in my vehicle. Then it's going to be ready to go for next time. You're going to have about a ten foot power cord to be able to plug it in to get some power.

It's going to use a 12 volt accessory outlet in your vehicle. With that ten foot cord, virtually wherever you want to mount it on your roof, you're going to be able to reach that power source. With this light you will have to plug it in for power to turn it on. Then there is no type of button to press, so if you want to turn it off you just pull it out.Thank you all for watching, that's going to do it for a look at the beacon strobe light from Buyers Products.
