Randy: Hey guys. Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at a solid aluminum wheel chock from Buyers. This is going to be in the middle duty line, really nice, solid and strong and pretty compact. Here you can see it's going to be just six inches wide, seven inches from front to back. Then from the ground to the top, we're looking at five and a quarter inches.
While this small and compact and easy to transport, it's very rugged and very heavy duty. You can see the hollow aluminum construction makes it really lightweight, but it's something I wouldn't worry about a bit when it comes to holding you vehicle.You'll see the good contour there. It's going to go right up against our tire. If you'll look at the bottom on both the front edge and the rear, we've got those large biting teeth, even on more solid surfaces like this. Really no issues with it being drug one way or the other or sliding out on us.There's also a handle located here on the backside.
It's easy to get ahold of, whether you're trying to get it put in place or get it out and removed. All in all, I think this is going to be a really good solution for things you need to check out. The lightweight is nice. It's going to be just as rugged and just as sturdy as what we get out of like the larger rubber wheel chocks, but we don't have the weight to deal with, and that aluminum is going to be rustproof, of course. We don't have to worry about any corrosion like we do with the steel chocks, and those tend to be much heavier.
So all in all, I think it's going to be a very strong, very durable, lightweight wheel chock.
