Review of the BoatBuckle Pro Series Ratcheting Transom Tie Downs

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the BoatBuckle Pro Series Ratchet Transom Tie-Downs. Part number is I-M-F, one, eight, seven, four, zero. Our tie-down is 1 inch wide and 3 1/2 feet long, so it's going to be adjustable to fit different combinations of inaudible 00:00:19 about 19 seconds of silence tie-down, which is made out of a seat-belt-quality material, so it's going to be durable and sturdy. The ratcheting mechanism itself operates with a lever here. That's going to allow you to both release the tension as well as tighten the ratcheting mechanism to put the tension back on. We also have a PVC cover here to keep our ratcheting mechanism from coming into contact with either a boat or a boat trailer. Now that we've gone over some features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get the strap attached to your trailer and your boat.

There's two hooks. We're going to want to take the vinyl-coated one and attach that to our boat. Take the zinc-coated one. That's going to come down to the bottom. First we'll need to open up our ratcheting strap.

We'll press in on the black lever in here, which is going to allow us to feed out more strap, and connect it. Press that back in and bring our ratchet up, which will engage the mechanism, allowing us to actually tighten it. Get some tension here on our strap. It feels like we've got it good and tight. Take the excess and fold it up and tuck it out of the way so it's not flapping in the wind.

Just like that, our strap is good and secure to our boat. Now with both of our tie-downs installed, that's going to complete our look at the BoatBucket Pro Series Ratchet Transom Tie-Downs, part number is I-M-F, one, eight, seven, four, zero.
