Manufacturer Demo of the Hopkins RV Leveling Kit with Electronic LED Smart Level

Speaker 1: In this video we're going to show you how to use the Hopkins Towing Solutions Heavy Duty RV Leveling System to quickly get to level on your own, in three easy steps. First, let's make sure you have everything you need. You'll need a complete Heavy Duty RV Leveling Kit, which includes three risers, a traction mat, and a wheel chock. If your kit does not include a wheel chock, we recommend you purchase one separately for added security. Additionally, we recommend a Hopkins Towing Solutions Smart Level, which is also sold separately. So, let's get started. The first thing that you'll need to do is open your RV's Smart Level and pull into your desired location to determine how out of level your RV is.

The highly visible LED light allows you to do this from the comfort of your driver's seat. You'll notice the lights indicating the amount of risers necessary to get to level. In this case, it's only one. Once you get the reading, back up to make room to place the risers in the desired location. Next, position the traction mat closely in front or behind the desired wheel, ensuring it is directly in line with the wheel.Once the mat is in place, begin placing the necessary number of risers on top of the traction mat.

Approximately six inches away from the wheel to keep the risers from slipping. Again, please ensure that placement is directly in line with the wheel. It is important to note that the top leveling riser acts as a wheel dock. If you only need one riser, please use the top riser. Now slowly drive into place, carefully securing the wheel between the two wheel docks. Check the Smart Level to confirm if you are level.

You can do this from the comfort of your driver's seat. Once confirmed, reposition the level against the side of the RV to check if you are level, front to back. The Smart Level can also be rotated 180 degrees so you can easily see it from the trailer jack when leveling your trailer, front to back. This allows you to get to level quickly, without having to walk back and forth from the trailer jack to the side of your trailer to see when you achieve level. Now that you are level from all sides, the final step is to place a wheel chock on the downward side of the wheel. As an alternative, prior to driving into place, the wheel chock can also be positioned directly on top of one of the wheel docks.

You should also know that our leveling system can be customized, to fit multi axle RVs.Thanks for watching. We wish you simple, strong, and secure adventures. Hopkins Towing Solutions for a simpler and more rewarding towing experience.
