How to Install a Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2001 Dodge Ram

Today on this 2001 Dodge Ram pickup 1500 were gonna install part number 118329 from Tow Ready. This is a 4-pole wiring harness. Alright well go ahead and show you where the connection points are if were looking at the driver side of the vehicle it will be right behind the bumper and this is our first connection point right here. inaudible you got to push in that way and you can pull it apart. inaudible the 2 pieces well install the T-connector with the yellow wire, then well route this wire and the 4-pole wire over to the center of the hitch. Well do that by following the factory wire harness inaudible with the green wire and were now on over to the other side.

Then well make our connection on the passenger side identical to the driver side. Were gonna take our 4-pole wire and where it is going just run it around the inaudible chain loop then well go ahead and use some zip ties to take up the rest of the slack and there you have it for part number 118329 from Tow Ready.
