Now in case the box does come in contact with the rear antenna, were going to go ahead and first remove it. The rear antenna can simply be removed by untwisting it. With the factory roof rack on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up on to the vehicles crossbars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against the bars.
Youll know that the clamps have been fully tightened when the knobs starts to click. We can then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle.
