Review of the Thule Parkway 2 Hitch Bike Rack on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Today on our 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe, we'll be test fitting Part Number TH958. This is the Thule Parkway 2 Bike Carrier. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and install and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt. With the anti-rattle bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. We'll now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 11 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack mast to the back of the vehicle is 1-5/8 inches.

We'll now go ahead and pull the pin on the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down. We can then open our cargo door and as you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area, opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. We're now almost ready to load our bike. Well, we only need to make sure that the cradle straps are undone and out of the way. We can then place the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around to secure our bike to the bike rack and that's it.

Our bike is loaded and we're ready to head on down the road, and that completes our test fit of the Thule Parkway 2 Bike Carrier, Part Number TH958 on our 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe.
