Review of the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack on a 2010 Scion xB

Today on our 2010 Scion XB, well be test fitting part number th934xtr, this is the Thule hitching post pro folding and tilting four bike rack with anti-sway cradles for both inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. A quick note on this bike rack, it can be used in a class I through III hitch, however, when using with a class I hitch you are limited to two bikes. Now weve already gone ahead and removed the adapter for the two inch hitch from the bike rack, so all well need to do is slide the bike shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt, with our bolt tight our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements, our ground clearance at the bike rack is 10-1/2 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 7-1/4 inches. Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down, we can then open our cargo door, and as you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area opening the cargo door completely with this bike rack. Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the top of the mast to bring out our duel arms, where we can undo the straps to expose the cradles, well place the bike into the cradles, and bring the straps around securing our bike to the bike rack and thats it our bike is loaded and were ready to head on down the road and that completes the test fit of the Thule hitching post pro folding and tilting four bike rack with anti-sway cradles, part number th934xtr on our 2010 Scion XB..
