Review of the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack on a 2007 Pontiac G6

Today on our 2007 Pontiac G6, well be test fitting the Thule hitching post pro, part number th934xtr. A quick note on this bike rack if using on a class I hitch you are limited to two bikes. Now to begin our test fit weve already removed the included adapter for the two inch shank, so were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well begin by sliding our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you some clearance measurements, our ground clearance at the bike rack is 6-1/4 inches and from the closet part of the bike rack here at the mast to the back of the vehicle is 5-3/4 inches.

Next well pull the pin at the base of the mast to allow the mast to tilt down, we can then open our trunk and as you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area opening the trunk completely. Now well pull the pin here at the top of the mast and bring out the duel arms where we can undo the straps to expose our cradles. Well place the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around securing our bike to the bike rack and with that our bike is loaded and were ready to head on down the road and that completes our test fit of the Thule hitching post pro, part number th934xtr on our 2007 Pontiac G6.
