Today on our 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe, well be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Folding and Titling 4 Bike Rack with Anti-Sway Cradles for both 1-1/4 and 2-inch hitches part number TH934XTR. Now to begin our test fit, well use the included adaptor for the 2-inch hitch. We can then slide our bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, our bike rack is secure to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rack is 10-3/4 inches and from the closest point of the bike racks mast, to the back of the vehicle is 83/4 inches.
Well now go ahead and pull the pin on the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down. We can then open our cargo door. As you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. Well next go ahead and pull the pin at the top of the mast to bring out our dual arms where we can undo the straps to expose our cradles. Well place our bike into the cradles and bring the straps around securing our bike to the bike rack.
Well also bring the third strap around the C post of our bike securing our anti-sway cage to the bike to keep our bike from swaying. There you have it our bike is loaded and were ready to head on down the road.
