Review of the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack on a 2009 Chrysler Town and Country

Today on our 2009 Chrysler Town and Country, well be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post, part number TH934XTR. And to being our test fit, well simply slide our bike rack shank into the hitch and lineup the hitch pin hole and install and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. With our anti-rattle bolt tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the bike rake is 11 and a quarter inches and from the closest point of the bike rake to the back of the vehicle is four and a half inches. Well now go ahead and pull the pin at the bottom of the bike rack mast to allow the mast to tilt down.

We can then open our cargo door and as you can see we can gain full access to the cargo area opening our cargo door completely with this bike rack. Well now pull the pin at the top of the mast to bring out our dual arms where we can undo the straps to expose our cradles. Well place the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around to secure our bike to the bike rack. And thats it, our bike is loaded and were ready to head on down the road. And that completes our test fit of the Thule Hitching Post Folding Tilting 4-Bike Rack with Anti-Sway Cradle, part number TH934XTR on our 2009 Chrysler Town and Country.
